Guest guest
Dear Respected Ladies and Gentlemen, As all members know, this group is moderated. In the past I experimented with having a non-moderated group and the discussion seemed to become too voluminous and in my view, sometimes too personal,to be shared publicly. As of late, my busy schedule has not allowed me to dedicate as much time as needed to moderating and reading every message. Unfortunately, I let some messages through which upset some members. I therefore must apologize if anyone was offended. I also apologize to Tripurari Swami for allowing that message to be sent out. I completely disagree with such a harsh judgement and offer all respects to him. Namaste. Vrin Parker P.S.Because chanting God's Holy Name is the goal for all Vaishnavas, For the Scriptual quote inclined, I quote an important verse: trinad api sunicena taror api sahisnuna amanina manadena kirtaniya sada harih One should chant the holy name of the Lord in a humble state of mind, thinking oneself lower than the straw in the street; one should be more tolerant than a tree, devoid of all sense of false prestige, and should be ready to offer all respect to others. In such a state of mind one can chant the holy name of the Lord constantly. (Shree Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, 1486-1534 A.D.approx.) THIS VERSE ALSO APPLIES TO THE TREATMENT OF WOMEN.
