>1. GOD is a supernatural power and an unseen

>inspiration, GURU is a guide who shows us the right

>path, MOTHER gives birth and sacrifices everything for

>the sake of her children.

>

>Who is the greatest among the above and whose guidance

>should we follow?

Ans: At the first phase of the life,it is only mother, who is God-present,

she has to be worshiped, till the end of the life.

At the growing age it is the Guru who shows us all about the world and also

about God. So guru is the greater than anything else. But God, whom we are

talking about, is only known through the SASTHRAS, that were taught to us by

the Guru only. Hence, the guidance of Guru, who shows us the path of the

'real life', that goes along with the spiritual life, should be worshiped.

>2. How many spiritual orders exist i.e. apart from

>Dwaitha, Vishishtadwaita and Advaitha. Which is more

>prominent and shrestam. why should one take the path-

>of these orders? Cant man be his own self?

Ans. There are somany schools-of-thought, came into existance, after these

3 major doctrines,as off-shoots of these three only. So, in one way or the

other, we can say that all the other doctrines are included in these three

major 'vedic-doctries'.

WE human beings are blessed with the ability to use the free-will. No other

creature has it. If we won't use it, we are lower than any other creature,

for they lead truthful and justifiable life, when compared with humans. If

man uses his ability to Realize & Pray to God, that is only the Way, as and

how man can show his gratitude. Hence, 'living by oneself', has no meaning

as such. Man has to choose, some spiritual path, whichever suits him,

depending upon the maturity he has.

3. What is the importance attached to Guropadesham and

>Ashtakshari Mantram? Can one practice the ordinary

>lifestyle after Samashrayanam? Does any supernatural

>power influences us after Samashrayanam?

Ans: Even after taking a Manthra from the Guru, life-style need not be

changed, for Manthra gives us ability to think well and do well, with a

study mind. We do not know about any super-natural powers, attached to

Samasrayanam.

The greatness of Ashtakshari Manthra is very long. It is the origin of all

the Ve;das. It allows the practitioner to get anything he wants to get, it

meditated upon properly. There are somany ways of taking Gurupadesam.

Sripanchara;tra Agamas, recommend doing Pacha- samskaras to anyone, whoever

is a real seeker, without taking any mundane bondage into account, viz.,

caste, creed, sex, financial status etc. If you have any nearby frieds,

whoever have taken samasrayanam from us, will be having a guruparampara book

with them. Look into the details of what and why we need samasrayanam etc.,

are mentioned.

.. Recently a month ago I felt that some supernatural

>power was influencing me and I ran to tirupathi like a

>mad dog. I was not that genuine person what i was.

>There were lot of magic things which I observed there

>and something which I experienced at Tirupathi. I

>cannot explain it wholly but i would call it as

>'MAYA'. What was this experience? Is it common in

>everybody?

Ans: We cannot say anything about your experiences, you see!

That type of experiences or not common to us or any of our people. Probably

yours is the unique experience. So long as they are not causing trouble to

others, they are good.....

>5. Should i get married. What is marriage? my date of

>birth is 22.10.1973, Simha Rasi, Pubba Nakshatram, III

>padam? If yes, when will i get married? Do we elect a

>bride or is it in the destiny of oneself?

Ans: Priya friend! We do not play God. We do not know the Jathakas also.

You need to consult a qualified scholar and proceed.

If our elders who designed or started the dress code had lived in Alaska or

Detroit Michigan, would they have prescribed the dress code?

We have to consciously separate essence from the non-essence. Namo Narayana is

the essence. All these other things are not the essence or the definition of who

or what makes Sri Vaishnava. adiyen may be corrected by learned members of the

group.

What works in Kanchi MaaNagar does not work in Sri Badrinath.

it is out of context to speak of " How god is doing", and also

irrelevent to the raised question or the given answer, as the topic that needs

explanation is about the relationship of 'identity' and 'difference' ie.,

abhe:da and bhe:da

Priya Sriman Shiva !

Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha

Mangalasasanams of HH Sri Swamiji

Here the context is NOT how God is doing. Nothing is being discussed in

that context. It is the relationship that is being explored between GOD and his

Qualities (God and Jivas or soul and the body ). "How God is doing...", has

nothing to do here in the present context. It is totally a separate context and

subject as a whole, for which there is lot to discuss and lot many to say. (

Neither the example you have quoted has any relevance to the present context.

However, it Might come under the "Achinthya" part of the answer describing about

the innumerable auspicious virtues of Supreme Lord )

Refer to the line starting with "Gaudiyas feel that the metaphysic

of...." is where it clearly reveals that our "feeling" has taken prominent

place than apocalyptic Vedas, Universal Sounds. Unfortunately, this is the

respect we (ourselves) have towards our original Vedas and Upanishaths ??

Our feelings are highly limited in nature and are influenced by

all the types of blemishes, according to our Karmas. Our Karmas decide our

tastes and convictions. Our feelings cannot be the deciding factors about the

Utmost Truths of this Universe. If we try to decide so, it is only getting

misled. So Sasthra is the only refuge in all such matters. Life is short. Let

us Realise fast and Pray to be in His Service.

Whether we realise or not Truth is always Truth. Our acceptance or

somebody's acceptance has no role in it. Such great Truths are revealed by

Vedas. Our Merciful Acharyas presented the essence of those Truths in a most

exhaustive manner, just for our sake to quickly realise(after extensive and

indepth study of all the subjects and relevent subjects too.) Before we speak

of such things in public or via media, utmost care of the authenticity (with the

Vedas) has to be verified.

May we realise the blessings of our Acharya, get freed from all the

imposed conceptions; and become the most-liked-servants of our beloved Lord, at

the earliest.

Dear Friends,

Jai Srimannarayana.

I know this is all part of our human games. Everyone always want to start

everything from fresh and separate. We have become so practical and mastered in

separatisim, now the "so-called" orthodox people too joining the main stream. If

one wants to do good, he shouldn't shy away from joining the next person who has

already started doing the same.

Look now. Instead of extending support to our Acharyas, we want to become

leaders and do it in our own way. Our Acharyas are doing a splendid job and

fighting for our traditions, culture and heritage. How many of us really shown

the support? How many of us joined the protest in endorsing the petition? Lets

see some of our own groups following Vaishnavisim. To raise to the occasion and

protect our Lord Venkateshwara Temple, any one of us needn't wait for someone to

tell us. At the minimumn, these groups should be the first ones to oppose the

destructions of Tirumala and should have endorsed the petition

(http://www.zeroguru.com/petition.html). But how many of them did. Talking about

God, visiting SatSangs, visiting temples, breaking coconuts and etc is not

enough friends. We should also join our acharyas in this noble cause.

For those Viashnava Acharyas not supporting this noble cause, I request those

followers of these acharayas to request their Gurus to extend their support to

save our culture, traditions and heritage.

We do not want everyone asking each other, "What did you do?", "If I do this,

what will you do for me?", "Ok, dont tell me? What have yooou done soo far?".

Just leave our egos here itself for the sake of our Lord and Acharyas and

culture. Lets extend our support whole heartedly to our acharyas.

No offense guys/gals.

Jai Srimannarayana
