gs,

1.Dhyana =is the process related to enlightenment of

intellect with the sheer pleasure of atman. That is the

process of cleaning the influence of chittasanskaras

(all the past impressions till last second)on

intellect and mind centre by the atman(the self)and

when dhyana turns into samadhi(thats the dhyana

sustained) that nullifies the self itself which is

said as liberation.Entering into dhyana means the

focus of attention on the material, then progressively

astral,casual,and supercasual levels of

illusions, diverted towards the self the one which

experinces "I am".

The dhyana zeroes the thoughts and all attachments

which indicate "i am something" in mind the centre of

thought activities. The process is happening when the

atman(the I) watches the mind centre activities and

creates distance between self and the thoughts.

When it is experinced that the "I"atman is the power

source to the actvities of the mind

centre.Automatically the activities in mind centre

come into control of atman coz of understanding in

intellect builds up.

Dhyana has two ways

1.singularise the mind centre activities with a single

activity of devotion with a form specifically a devine

one like lord krishna Lord Rama etc so that the total

focus is singularised and no further other bonds

generated but not deepened and not got impressed , the

single bond uplifts the focus of attention and the

individual enters into devotional

meditation(meditation with form).Such meditation leads

to entry into many lokas at the level of astral casual

and supercasual ones.Thats the saguna path of

spirituality.

2.Other way of dhyana is to Nullify every activity in

the mind centre by experincing them as non eternals

and are powered by atman.Thats the nirguna path of

spirituality. This route is difficult and needs very

high prudential intellect.and it leads at no loka

since they all are in forms except the final one which

is formless one is liberation if properly understood

and experinced.dhyana is related to "dhi" the

intellect.

2.Upasana = is saguna(with form) path of going towards

liberation or at least getting self form into out of

forced cycle of birth and death it means possesing

control over it.

Upasana is the process of performing the activity

which will always offere rememberance of a beloved

devine form.In this way one will choose to be alwayes

accompanied by the devine form with him.Upasna has

meaning of sitting close. The all time rememberance and

performing related activities of particular god is

upasana.Upasana includes activites like performing

pooja,meditating on god form,its like god-devotee

relationsheep.

Sadhana =is related to, one has some specific target

and is doing all related activities for it.is related

to "sadhya"the target. The sadhana may be saguna path

or may be nirguna(formless) path.

sadhana has broader area of activities than

upasana. That covers everything which is requred to

achieve the target may it be liberation may it be

enlightenment may it be want of moksha or heaven.

keeping some target fixed and walking on the

particular route which is choosen and assumed to be

right one either by self influence of understanding or

by others advise who are deeper in that particular way

for attaining the target is sadhna.

Its continuous process and involve all activities

including physical,astral,casual,and supercasual

activties of an individual.
