Guest guest
gs its not guarranteed that doing any sadhana gives moksha,It all depends on how your internal focus of attention gives priority to the things from material to devine,to the supremo the passionless one.Sadhna is the opportunity created for internal diversion of focus by individual self. If the focus is diverted to atman or at least super casual layer of illusion, the entry into moksha state is possible. The astral bodies have reach upto heaven and hell.Above heaven is randomly moksha zone. The eternity of moksha is till the colapse of universe. The liberation is nullification and is different from moksha.Moksha is attaining the form of devine bodies and having choice of rebirths. The sadhna is individual choice based on the structure of own intellect, chitta impressions and the habit of accepting thoughts at mind centre.Which stalls the activity of the three or at least chitta impressions and mind centre gives immediate approach of moksha.Intellect remains powered by atman under such state of individual existance. --- gaytrishandilya <no_reply> wrote: > Which sadhna is capable of getting us Mokshya in one > birth only? > > gs > > > > > > > >

The desire for Moksha is as bad as desire for money or status or power. You have to do sadhna, but without any desire for either moksha or psychic powers. Understanding the Universal system is the final aim of all sadhnas. But undertanding it will take you more than 1 lifetime. There are several lessons , some very hard, that you have to learn on the way. I was chatting to babji, and he said a good thing- whenever you feel someone elses pain, and feel happiness in other peoples happiness, your understanding of the universe increases, and your journey to moskha becomes smaller. The final Purusha, Shiv, feels the pain and happiness of every creature in the universe. That is how we have to become, and it is not easy. Most of us are so egoistic we dont even care for our own parents or relatives, let alone the whole world! So love the whole world as your self- if you think like Shiv, you will become Shiv. This is the most powerful sadhna, with guranteed moksha........... Shantnu
Guest guest
shanracer, udai and Agni have beautifully replied...i would also like to add my 2 cents. Question: Is there any sadhna which can give us Moksha in one life time. I will say No sadhna and All sadhnas can give Moksha in one life time. If a human being has just evolved, no sadhna will take him to Moksha in one birth time. And if someone has done hard labor in a birth, but died before getting the last leap, any sadhna in his next birth will make him enlightened. As agni devi said, it depends upon one's status of spirituality depending upon his hard work in last birth. I think a small story will further elaborate my point. Two disciples of a guru, started Kali sadhna. Both were almost of same age and built and both were given the same mantra. After many years of sadhna, Mother Kali apeared before them in her fierce form. One boy when saw mother Kali's fearsome figure, he could not hold his fear and died of heart attack. The other though much afraid, but managed to keep his senses. Mother Kali asked him," Son I am happy with you. You can demand any boon from me" The young sadhu asked," Mother before giving me boon, please tell me why so much unjustice with my friend. We both are chelas of same guru, we chanted same mantra. Why this poor boy died and could not take boon from you. Why you were so cruel to him and so merciful to me ? Mother Kali smiled and said," Son i am not cruel to him and not just towards you. You had been doing my sadhna for the last 7 births, and everytime i appeared you died of fear. Now in this birth, your soul has become so strong that you were able to stand my fierce form. Your friend has died in his last 3 births, and after 4 more births he will also be able to take boon from me!! The examples of those who got enlightened in one birth, or who were born enlightened, did not get a special grace from God. It was due to their immense sadhna of previous births, that they could get Moksha in the birth we saw them. All of us will be Vivekanada in one birth, some of us will be like Paramhansa..in another birth. Kabir, Nanak would have been like us in their previous births...enquiring and meditating. As Shanracer said, we should not worry much about Moksha. Our journey is our goal! We are all free souls, spark of one divine...only our physical faculties have to understand this and resonate with our soul. Sadhna is the key. Patience is the friend and HE is our Guide. btw, what does Moksha mean to you ? For some it may be resting in heaven with gods, for some it may be dissolving into the Brahm, for some it may be living with Shiva or Krishan... love baba

The elimination of desire is not the process, nor the goal. It is a sideeffect. That which will inevitably happen at the very end and only at the end. > Understanding the Universal system is the final aim of all sadhnas. This also implies desire. You must desire to do something, you must desire to understand. Nothing comes to you by chance. Even to live you must have a will, an ego, a desire. With prime will the instict for survival. Ego is an equipment we cannot part at this stage. And the one who is clever uses it for ones own benefit. The mind and the ego will either be a friend of the soul or its enemy. Fighting it and trying to eliminate it by eliminating desires of any kind is the sure way to make it your enemy. Let it be and it will finally cooperate. This is the path of the least effort. Guest guest
In the end the process of evolution finally gets one to moksha, be that through sadhana or not. On the other hand, another interpretation is to call life a sadhana itself. This is why even great philosophers and scientists attain higher levels of spirituality and awareness without ever doing any sadhana. The refinement of the mind that takes place through research and subtle way of living can lead one. I believe nature and the universal game is constructed in such a way that everyone in the end finds a way out. Sooner or later, the tendency of nature is to evolve even through its own destruction. Moksha to me is everything and nothing. An absolute state.

No, I am sorry agni, you have misunderstood what I said. I am saying one thing, you are answering in a toally diffrent context, as if answering a diffrent question. In the gita, when Arjun ask Krishna what is good and bad karma, he says that anything done with a desire for the results is bad karma, even doing puja/sadhna. Anything done without desire of results is good karma. You say desires are hard to control. Of course they are. Thats why it takes 1000s of lifetimes to achieve enlightenement. But that doesnt mean throw up your arms and say "Its too hard. Lets just forget it!!. > > Understanding the Universal system is the final aim of all sadhnas. > > This also implies desire. You must desire to do something, you must > desire to understand. Nothing comes to you by chance. Even to live you must have a will, an ego, a desire. With prime will the instict for survival. Understanding the Univeral system is the final aim of Tantra- it does not imply "desire" of any kind, because it is hard for us to even imagine what the final result will be like, so we cant imagine it. We only desire what our limited buddhi can see. If you desire moskha, you will never get it. Moksha isnt a toffee that if you cry or nag your parents(god in this case), they will give you one. I know a person who was completely non believer- he was well off, rich and not interested in god at all. But he was a good person, often bankrupting himself to help friends and relatives. One day he had an accident, and he became self aware. All the info about god just "downloaded" in him. He could quote scriptures, teach rare yogic excersises, without ever reading about them in a book. Now he is a most powerful tantrik- I think you know of him too. Because he was a good person, but had no desire for results, God chose to shine his light of knowledge on him. Another example-When Einsten discoverd relatvity, it wasnt because he had a desire to show that Newtons laws of mechanics were insufficient. He had a geniune passion for the truth, and he found it. All other results- fame, top jobs, came by themselves. A true love and search for God yields similar results. But love with a desire doesnt. When parents love their children, it is without desire. Thats how God loves us, and expects us to love him. By being humble, by loving everyone, by feeling other people pain, we achieve the final state- we become like Shiva. Shiva(or Krishna) doesnt desire anything- yet he does his karma(duty). This is what I was saying in my original post- desire for moksha is the same as desire for money, power, beautiful women- God doesnt care about our little desires! If we want to shine in his eyes, we have to do the hard work- and we cannot fool him. Unless we genuinely change ourselves, love all, He will not be interested. But people who are pure of heart, like the Tantrik I spoke off, even if they dont desire God, God will still appear, and force them to love him! I never said that you should suppress all your desires, and go live in the Himalayas- but that all desires whould be superceded by one desire- love for the divine.
