"In Hinduism Sankara says that again human birth is almost impossible (Jantunaam

Nara Janma Durlabhamidam). "

lets look at the line objectively

Jantunaam(animal) Nara Janma Durlabhamidam

it does not say (puna nara janma durlabhamidam)...That it is rare for a

Humane to be reborn as a humane.

Well for a soul geting a Humane birth for the first time round is indeed very

rare , very difficult .....

What causes a soul to qualify for this quantum leap(animal to humane) god only

knows .....Maybe...

can any one say something on this point.

but not once it has got a Humane birth is it difficult or rare.

It take's many lives of sadhana to reach the state of nirvikalpa samadhi

well you may say that in it is possible in one life also true ....but

theoritically .... in practice

how many sadhaka's achive it in one life.

also just by observing(different Humanes) can we tell that different souls are

at different stages of maturity ...... different levels. All these due to karma &

desire/thoughts of there previous humane lives.

If we had all just(first humane birth) jumped from animal to humane i dought

we would be capable of discussing such fine things as we do in this group ....

wont we have been very animalish...just as some people do on this earth.

However if a soul when in humane body behaves too much like an animal then it

may retrogate.(that is a possiblity)
