Each of our Sanskaar...each of our reaction...each of our desire is writing a script for our next birth. So when we die...our next body and its environment are almost decided. The complex but fault free universal System makes the circumstances that we will be able to get the body, we have pre- decided. Chhandogya Upanishad says that the Jiva attaches to grains and enters the semen of the person eating that grain. I can not question the Upanishadas...but that may be a figure of speech used to denote some other Truth. In my personal opinion, soul hovers around grains...and when it finds the right match...it enters the semen and waits for fertilisation...even after fertilisation it does not actually enters the foetus but hovers above...making the heart of the foetus as its centre...to develop it into a body. It finally enters into it in the seventh month. If the soul (read Jivatma) is destined to be animal...then only it will enter into an animal. Certain souls by their strong will power may grab a chance to forcibly get a body which is not attuned for their environment...mother nature corrects the mistake by killing the jiva in womb itself...or immediately after birth. The Jivaatma is like a small piece of a big zigsaw puzzle...it will only fit into its right place....choice or no choice !! love baba
Guest guest
When a soul is ready to be reborn, Mother Nature chooses a body that will best allow it to work out its Karma. Sometimes, when people love their family a lot, and die suddenly, their soul wait till it can be reborn in that house again. But the final decision it still made by nature(Shakti). Very high souls can choose where they want to be born- they actively work with Mother shakti to identify the best family that will help them progress. For most common people, it is a kick in the backside- which is quite funny- as souls in astral world dont want to be born here, and bodies here dont want to leave! > True Karma plays its part , but the soul that came down through rain drops and to stuck to a fruit or grain can be eaten by any one..... rich or poor . good / bad believer / nonbeliever .... so isnt it making the whole thing too random I believe you read this in some Upnishad. As a discussion was going on earlier, the scriptures show visions of the truth, but are NOT the truth themselves. One of the tenets of Tantra is that there is nothing random/conincidental in the Universe- everything is part of a global plan. But the plan is only understood in its entirety only by the Divine....... Some rishis saw visions of the truth, which they interpreted according to their spiritual level. Some of these interpretations are closer to the truth than others. As Aurobindo said "There is no untruth- Its either truth in the making or truth in the breaking". It takes a long time to understand the Tantra of the Universe, and even the so called experts may just be beginners. As Babaji says many times, Truth is what you see and feel, not what you read in the books. Love, SB
