But to which higher plane one will go depends entierely on the spiritual progress..which has nothing to do with good karma. A rikshaw puller may be more spiritually advanced than a king !! How much memory one will have on the astral planes also depends on one's awakening. If you see around a big number of people around us are living in a trance ...a sort of hypnotized state. They are not aware what they are doing....only their Samskaars and their old karma drive them. Such people do not have any consciousness in astral worlds too. Most of people sleep in the astral world and wake up only on next birth. Some have vague memories like in a dream. But those who have spiritually advanced...certainly have a clear memory of not only last birth...but many other births too. love baba
Guest guest
gs, The jiva knows all the journey after death untill a new birth takes place. Even it remineds itself in the stomach of its mother, and pray god for his/her deeds to get relieved from the stomatch, Depending upon the deeds.Good souls know this is for their liberation while bad souls know this is for their sufferings. When it comes out from mothers stomatch(garbha),when it breaths first time,a thin layer of ignorance is formed & it enters into material illusion and forgets the past births. The first breath causes to form a thin layer of ignorance,so that the jiva has an opportunity to start things properly and freshly. This mechanism is created by Lord Shri Brahman.Yogis can break it by entering into meditation and find out the past either of themselves or of another person. After death the jiva gets confused when it watches the people are burning his body.It roams @10days there only untill it gats confirmed that it is out of body. Then if it has rage or attachments it remains there as ghost. The good souls are taken by the respected loka people while bad souls is picked by Yamadutas for hell. The evil spirits hide themselves from the divine bodies and find some physical body or dark places for them. Normal people are relieved but not picked up immediately and it takes some time for them.Such people also get birth immediately. Good souls enjoy in lokas and take some time to come back.Evils and Goods souls have to wait for their birth until proper intensity parents are available. For the divine and evil likas time is not criteria. --- gaytrishandilya <no_reply> wrote: > This is funny! if jiva sleeps in astral world then > how he suffers the > hells and how he enjoys the heavens ? > > g.s. > > > , "Baba ji" > <beirut_ka_baba wrote: > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
, gaytrishandilya <no_reply wrote: > > This is interesting. Can you tell if soul remembers his last life... -- my dear The scriptures just indicate towards the Truth…they are not Truth in themselves. Truth is not to be read in the books or listened from a guru. Truth is to be experienced by your own self…..Final Truth will be same for u and me….but the intermediaries may vary according to our mind-set. The Hell and Heaven depicted by the religions are more as a carrot to the rabbit than truth. The earlier man having an infant soul..which just came out of animal.. needed a strict discipline. Hence it was told of a horrific Hell and a beautiful Heaven….to bring her out of the animal mind-set. But for the progressed soul… these descriptions of the Heaven and Hell have no meaning. Moreover as Udai wrote in his posts, the subtle body had by the soul is not physical..but Manomaya, The sufferings and punishments…. The joys and plays are also subtle for her. I have seen myself millions of souls sleeping in the astral world… and later taking re-birth…hence my truth. The food offered to anyone in the name of departed soul reaches it as mental satisfaction…not as gross food. The main aim of our rituals is to bring the departed soul to "Gati" as "Agati" non-movement is very harming for a soul….she should move forward whether for punishment or enjoyment. I remember writings by a great soul of Rosicrucian Order. He Says--- My friend `x' died. He was drinking beer at the local pub and while he was having his last drink hurriedly as he had to join his son's birth day party, he had a heart attack and died in the pub. All rituals came to an end…and one day during meditation I thought of contacting my friend. I visited all the seven planes of the astral world, had a glance on the lower planes but could not see his Soul… enjoying or suffering. I was worried I went to his house (in astral body) but did not find his soul there too. Finally I went to the pub and saw him (his soul) sitting at the table where he died. He was trying to drink beer (imaginary) and since he could not drink it… he was trying again and again. Seeing me he murmured….oh I have to go home after this drink…my son must be waiting for me. I was horrified…this is a loop of time, where a soul whirls, but not comes out easily. My friend may spend thousands of years in such state. I went back to my body and asked the widow to do certain rituals…and myself did some meditation to bring him out of the whirlpool of time. And finally I succeeded…I saw him realising he is dead…and mournfully he entered the dark tunnel" What you see yourself is Truth rest all is speculation !! Love Baba In one of his previous births Swami Ghasitanandaji, died and reached Yamaloka. There was a long queue and ghasitanand being a naughty soul could not wait. He thought he would better have a peep around. On his right was a wall around Heaven and on his left was wall beyond which Hell existed. So he jumped and saw beyond the wall of heaven. There was good smell all around…gods were drinking Somarasa and Urvashi and Rambha were dancing on a classical tune…played by Ghandharvas. He was so impressed by the paucity of the scene. Then he thought …let me have a look to hell…how these people are suffering there….and he jumped on the wall of Hell and he saw ….People were drinking Johnny Walker….there was loud music…and cheap actresses of Hollywood and Bollywood were dancing half naked…people were crying with joy. Yama-dutas were insisting people on drinking more…some were enjoying marijuana…some cocaine. Meanwhile his name was called by Chitragupta…and after reading his life he pronounced…This is a pious soul…let her go to Heaven. Ghasitanandji cried," Nooo…I willl not go to Heaven….let me go to Hell. It is more enjoying there. His plea was accepted and the moment he entered the doors of Hell….two horrible looking Yamadutas took him to their chief. The Chief ejaculated," Take him to the cauldron…fry him for 1000 years..and then beat him with pointed sticks for 200 years. NO," Yelled ghasitanandji," Send me to the department which I saw while I was in the que.. The chief Yamaduta laughed," Ha Ha Ha Ha….That is our Publicity Department…to attract more tourists to Hell So don't go by Publicity my dear
Guest guest
dear friends The departure (death) is inevitable for the human beings If the blind love is accumulated day by day, just imagine that day When one has to depart from all his blind attractions in this world! Just on the deathbed, the Lord gives the last flash of knowledge By that you will realize the truth because at that junction of life and death One sees clearly both the worlds since the messengers of Lord Yama Stand before the person to pull out the subtle body from the gross body Then every one realizes that these bonds were absolutely unreal In that last few minutes the agony starts because the person thinks like this “For these blind bonds I have spent all my energy and my life time, Who cannot save me in this time, the saviour is not coming now because I have not spent my lifetime and energy for His mission when I was alive Now even if I wish to serve the Lord for His mission, there is no time When time was there this realization did not come, what could I do?” At that time the person is pained for foolishly having these bonds The person is not pained for leaving these bonds as you think now That situation will open the eyes of every human being in this world If you are not pained to leave these bonds for the mission now When you are alive, you will not be pained at that last minute also, posted by: His servant at the lotus feet of shri datta swami www.universal-spirituality.org gaytrishandilya <no_reply> wrote: why people undergo pain at the time of death. Guest guest
Namaskar Thankyou very much udai and surya for nice explanations. Babaj's post was too technical. for example what is Kosha? Is it True that the last thought at death decides our next birth. What if a sinner utters god's name near death time? will he be saved from Hell? Recently I saw on television about re-birth of a girl after 3 months, How is it possible? it needs at least 9 months even if a soul immediately enters a womb after death. gs
Guest guest
gs, The intensity of vision(with thought) at the last moment (the moment of trasformation of soul from physical attachemnt(sthula) to astral body(sukshma))decides where the jiva goes first. It doesnt means that it will be freed from its sins, but the sufferings of sins will come afterwards and that of the first thought will come first. You may say its preference given to you. Uttering the name god with rupa(form)vision clears the accumulated sins(sanchit and kriyamana) and imrpoves punya(good karma). If the form appears at the last moment and intensity of call is high, the sins of that birth are cleared totally and the jiva(soul) goes to the respected level of parallel loka, world(plane). But main thing is that to call the god with full intesified devotion needs years together deepening of devotion. It rarely comes all of sudden.hense all saints insists to deepen the devotion when the body and mind are in good shape, i mean in younghood. No soul(jiva) can enter two places at same time unless reached at upper planes, like tapoloka and satyaloka. they are lightermost souls and have powers of multiplication. For normal soul its impossible.Hense birth within 3 months is either possession or misinterpretation. --- gaytrishandilya <no_reply> wrote: Is it True that the last thought at death decides our next birth. Guest guest
Death is the question Mother Nature puts continually to Life and her reminder to it that it has not yet found itself. If there were no seige of death, the creature would be bound for ever in the form of an imperfect living. Pursueed by death he awakes to the idea of perfect life and seeks out its means and its possiblities. baba , gaytrishandilya <no_reply wrote: > > Namaskar > Thankyou very much udai and surya for nice explanations. Guest guest
> Is it True that the last thought at death decides our next birth. After death a soul goes into the Astral worlds to rest, but the Karmi debt doesnt end- good souls goto "heaven", bad to "hell", where they get results of their karma. Most people just enter a dark tunnel and come out with no rememberance of what happenned...... Our next life is decided by karma of this life- what sort of body would allow us to best work out Karma. Does mother Nature want us to progress? If yes, we will be born in a religious family. Higher souls can choose their own body- the best that will allow them to finish off their karma in the least time. For most people, Nature makes that choice. What > if a sinner utters god's name near death time? will he be saved from > Hell? There is no fixed place called "hell" where you are fried or beaten up- when we think bad or good thoughts, it creates a vritti (impression) on our soul(the actual tantrik place is Chakras, but forget that for now). These vrittis surface according to a vast global plan that only Maha Kali understands. Good Vrittis give good result, bad one give bad result. But the goal is not to punish us, but to progress our soul, so we can evolve into gods. Those who dont understand the system suffer again and again- but mother Kali always tries to help, but its up to you to evolve your soul. God, Guru, Shastras can only show you the way, not make you walk on it. On the other hand, those who do understand the system, slowly find that they are the masters of the system, and they can control and bend it. But this is a very slow, painful process, as mother nature wants to teach us a lot of lessons, some that our ego may not want to learn. Most people think they will goto Guru and he will remove their karma, or they will says gods name once in while, or before dying, and they will be saved. But there is no where to go- no heaven, no hell, only Karambhoomi. You have to learn how the system created by Shiv-Shakti nexus works, or you will be stuck here forever. Have you seen the Movie the Matrix? Think of the Universe like that- only the matrix is a good intellience that wants us to all to wake up. Like in the movie, not everyone wants to wake up. Heres a good Matrix dialogue "Neo, there is a difference between knowing the path, and walking the path". Hope this answers your questions.
