Guest guest
Dear prakki, Lord Shri Dattaswamis approach is right with respect to Bhakti concepts,Those who only chant "Aham Brahmasmi" never go towards brahman. Its nothing but a murmer of a mad person. But if you study sankhya in "Lord Shri Krishna"s words you will come to know what he is trying to say. Lord Shri Datta swamiji whether mensioning anuthing on "sankhya"? I just indicated "Lord Shri Adi Shankaracharyas " verses and his status in turiya which is relevent to this method of attainment. We have to understand "and not only chant" that we are trully the brahman state which is said in gita,if we choose the "sankhya" route of liberation. This is acually Dnyan marg.If the intellect and mindset are made to understand that what functions they are doing are just material, the devinity gets exposed and these attachments becomes detached from these bondings.Since the attachments become a mechanical doings and irrelevent to get attached to. Lord Shri Adi Shankaracharyas one of the deceple had attained samadhi in only three questions of "who am i?" Lord asked him three times who are you? and the deceple was so focused that he entered into samadhi status. Those who have the right focus can enter into sankhya and get attainment just by doing their normal work as said in gita. This is the Turiya status and The turiya is experince part and not chanting or conveinceing part. Your answer chosen from "Lord Shri Datta Swamis " preaches is either contraducting with "Lord shri Krishnas" verses on "Sankhya Yoga".or you yourself are denying the path which "Lord Shri Krishna " is saying. Those who are prefering Bhakti yoga can not digest this because this needs the "neti neti" (this is not true, this is not true) methods applied all the time (24X7).BHakti has beliefs on happenings while the sankhya tores of beliefs. Next== For your kind information "Lord Shri Hanuman" has himself chosen to be in his "slave bhakti "form until the universe is collapsed. He is "chiranjivi." and he can be very easily seen because of his availability and his vayugati. Additionally Its 100% guarranteed that if you chant "shri ram jai ram jai jai ram" or " om shriram" at least half an hour or an hour, he appears at that place and helps the person to attain the purpose of chating. His speed is so fast that before you have his glimpse he is gone. At devine level(in turiya status)the intelligence is useless. Its experince of permanent pleasure. At this level Rama=Krishna=Hanuman=Vishnu=Shiva=all gods in turiya status=all sadgurus=all sadhaks in turiya status. When they return to their form, they are unequel because of their form. The forms make them different in intect, mindset and other attachments. We are also equal to them provided we are reached at turiya status like"Lord Shri Adi Shankaracharya" has reached. It was an example of "Lord Shri Shankaracharya". "Hanuman " is my respected god because "Lord Shri Ramdas Swami" who had sarupya mukti with him got incarneted, in very recent centuries during "king Shivaji" period, offered all of us those wonderfull teachings of these times, which are helpfull in material and spiritual world,There are other reasons too about hanuman. Everybod has choice to choose the route of attainment. Lord Shri Hanuman has chosen "dasoham","slave bhakti" That doesnt means he is not in turiya state, oly thing is that he is existing and dint finished from universe like "Lord Shri Patanjali, Lord Shri Goutam Budhdha, Lord Shri Mahaveer,Lord shri Akrur, Lord Shri janaka,Lord shri Adi Shankaracharya and many unkhowns" You can not trace them in universe. --- prakki surya <dattapr2000 wrote: Are you greater than Hanuman in any angle? Guest guest
Dears, This reminds me as below, Lord Shri Ramana Maharashi had no guru, Such people dont need guru, who are truly have an urge of realisation.Their is no question mark on Lord Shri Ramana maharshi. This is very recent Example. Next== Once a Guru from other ashram in the nearby area of our ashram came to meet our Guruji. He used to say "Aham Brahmasmi",loudly during conversation with my guruji.Since he was welknown to our guruji, my guruji casually asked him, whether "Aham Brahmasmi" needs to be said reminded frequently?, he said "yes. i forget it sometimes." Its matter of consideration how people take "Aham Brahmasmi" .This was nothing more than just chanting gods name. Next== Lord Shri Narada happened to travel from nearby place where two persons who were doing sadhana saw him. One of them was about 60 years old and regularly doing sadhana, devotion, as per indicated is shashras. Other one was aged for say 23-24.and just loving the god and doing bhakti as per he think is okay. When they saw Lord Shri Narada both of them were very much interested to understand when they will be able to see their god. Lord Shri Narada saw at them and said the old person, you have to take three more births and then you will be able to see the god.As soon as the old person heard this, he got very much angry on god and said Lord Shro Narada, why three births, i have done so much of in my life,i have suffered so much for him,i left everything which i had, i all time saw and observed that i should not perform the activities which are told incorrect as per shashtras, i never showed my angryness, I never did any ego on my doings,i did everything as told ,but why this three births ?why ?why?Lord Shri Narada just smiled and went further. The young man saw Lord and was ager to understand about him also.Lord Shri Narada saw him and show him a mango tree, which had plenty of leaves on it,He said,Look at this tree, you have to take number of births the number of leaves this tree has. Immediately hearing this this young sadhak started dancing like a mad, and said to Lord Shri Narada,"Please say my thanks to God, he is so humble, there are crores of trees on earth, yet he gave me births only equal to this one tree leaves only.I have no words than to thanks my god,I am so lucky", The same time the young sadhak delivered his talk, god appeared in fromnt of him, and offered him mukti.Lord Shri Narada proceeded further. I liked this event from Bhagvat Purana very much. Is any explanation reqd? Its irrelevent whether its sankhya or devotion, the fakes are always beaten. --- Tatwamasi <tatwamasi wrote: they wouldn't need a teacher, would they? Holding this goal of "Aham Brahmasmi" or "Shivoham" is dangerous in the hands of those with temperaments which are egotistical in nature.
