Guest guest
Namaste all. Hello adi shakti! Nice to see you again on this board too. The end verse of every stanza of this stotra ends with: "jaya jaya he! mahiSAsura mardini! ramya kapardini, zaila sute!" And the meaning is entirely different from what you wrote,- 'Be victorious, be victorious, O destroyer of the demon Mahisa, daughter of the mountain Himalaya, with beautiful braids of hair!' The correct Sanskrit text is available here: http://www.hindunet.org/stotras/itx/mahisha.txt , roopika_devi <no_reply> wrote: > > Every Stanza in the song ends with this refrain 'Jaya jaya > he Mahisasura MAardini Ramyaka Vardini Shailasute . Maybe this is our famous "well_wisher" in a different ROOP! Or maybe its some game.. or maybe the individual doesn't know much about message boards. Whatever.. here it goes..
