Guest guest
Namaste all. The following is a Hindi 'pada' out of the "Shree Krishn Madhuri" section of 'Yugal Shaktak'- in its English version. Balihar Balihar Tin Brajnar The Braj Gopis to whom Krishn is eternally indebted are so great. Krishn, Who is the eternal father and protector of all the souls of the world, became a small baby in the house of Nandbaba in Braj. Vedas say that even the god of death is afraid of Krishn. The same Krishn is afraid of a small stick which mother Yashoda is holding in her hand (to punish Krishn for doing some mischief). Whose power maya is so powerful that the entire world dances to its tune (remains under its influence). The same Krishn dances in Braj to the tune of the clapping of mother Yashoda. Krishn's maya is so powerful that even Brahma, Vishnu and Shiv cannot cross it. Glory to the same Krishn Who become so helpless in Braj that Gopis make him dance for a handful of buttermilk. Whose name is so powerful that just by chanting His name with love, one can attain any of the four types of liberation. The same Krishn becomes so helpless that he cries to get out when He is tied up to an ukhal (a large rice pounding pot) by mother Yashoda. All the gyanis and yogis beg Krishn for Divine Bliss and liberation. The same Krishn begs Gopis of Braj and says: O Gopi, give Me your love. Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj says: O souls of the world! This is the supreme knowledge that anyone can easily find Krishn by loving Him wholeheartedly. {Introduction by Shree Maharajji to his book of pads: Yugal Shaktak: It is customary to write an introduction that is why I am writing a few words. Some devotees worship only Shree Krishn and some only Radha Rani, and at the same time they also create discrimination between Radha and Krishn which becomes a transgression. In reality, Radha and Krishn are Both one and the same. Because of the sanskars of past lives one may have more love for Radha than Krishn or vice versa. But he must always remember that Both are eternally one. For this reason, I wrote one hundred bhajans, fifty of Radha Rani and fifty of Shree Krishn. Sharat Poornima Jagadguru Kripalu October 13, 2000 **************************************** Portion of Preface to book by Shree Swamiji: The glory of my supreme archarya, Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj, shines through his pad, his writings, his speeches and his satsang. When Shree Maharajji was in Barsana for the Guru Poornima celebrations (in 2000), during his satsang, he playfully revealed a new series of chantings of Radha Rani and Shree Krishn. These hundred chantings, fifty for Radha and fifty for Krishn, are a special Divine gift for all classes and kinds of devotees. Apart from describing the unsurpassing lovingness of the virtues, names and the leelas of Radha Krishn, he also described the criteria of humbleness and the devotional philosophy.
