So one day 1008 shri swami Ghasitanandji Maharaj, visited a village.

The villagers were very hospitable and kind and they requested

swamiji to stay for night and accept their hospitality.

 

In the night when swamiji was about to retire...a man entered the

room and held feet of swamiji and started weeping. Swamiji asked him

softly son what is the matter...tell me if i can help you.

 

The person told," swamiji I am the most idiot person in this

village. I have no knowledge,no education, no way of speaking hence

all the village make mockery of me. In any gathering if i try to

speak something all start laughing and tormenting me to keep quiet,

because i am worth nothing having no knowledge of any scriptures, or

any words of wisdom. Now the situation has to deteriorated that even

children are laughing at me. Please give me some knowledge so that i

can face the wise villagers.

 

Swamiji smiled," so u know you are idiot....that is a great wisdom!

OK from now onwards do not try to put forth any of your idiotic

ideas...But if any wise man tell something QUESTION him. Like if

someone say moon is looking beautiful, just cry at him ask him What

is beauty....how moon is beautiful..prove it.

 

If someone tells God is there challenge him to prove it...or if

someone says God is not there...torment him to prove it..But remember

do not put forth any of your ideas..just question them and see how

they are puzzled.

 

The idiot was very happy ...he thanked swamiji and left. After

one year swamiji happened to pass from that village again and wanted

to know if the idiot was able to follow his instructions. He called

for him...He came well dressed..looking wise. He touched feet of

swamiji and thanked him," Swamiji i am so grateful to you...you gave

me such a wonderful wisdom...and i did the same. Today i am taken as

the wisest person in village and they have made me headman of the

village....Swami ghasitanand ki jai.
