Guest guest
Namaste. Here are two quotes about 'Saubhagya Purnima' in Vraja Lila taken from Rasika literature. Paurnamasi: This is a very appropriate request, for today is the auspicious day known as Saubhagya Purnima. A famous verse says: prasUnair adbhutaih kAntA kantena zrAvaNI-dine prasAdhitA prasiddhena saubhAgyena vivardhate "A woman decorated by her lover with many wonderful flowers on the full-moon day of the month of Shravan attains great good fortune." Mukunda wants to spend this night with you alone, Increasing the flow of sweetness. Fortunately, the day is here, dear. Give your heart to meeting him yourself." Though I argued reasonably thus, Radha, daughter of the Sun's friend, Still sent Chitra to him in the end. (UN 4.38; Nitai das's translation) -------------------- Jaya Sri Radhey!
