Guest guest
Practice what you know. How can I constantly churn positive thoughts and remain a well-wisher? In fact we know the answers but we don't always practice what we know. If I know something clearly but don't practice, whose fault is it? Many have the time to pick at other's faults but don't practice what is necessary and beneficial for their own progress. Can such a soul be called sensible? The world is living in worry and we are the well-wishers. No one is free from sorrow, worry or fear. Those who are wealthy or famous live in deep fear. We are not after wealth, position or fame and so we are free. If the people of the world were to experience even a drop of what we have received from God they would feel that there is some type of support available. What then is my duty at this time? Here, everything depends on our thinking. We are on the path of knowledge and we have to go upwards. The destination is high. I know I definitely have to stay on this path and so there comes a moment when I need to decide to work on myself sincerely. Ups and downs are bound to come my way, I must at least be aware of how to take care of myself and be attentive. What will happen if I keep shifting and moving around (my stage keeps fluctuating). What will happen if I keep saying, "I don't know." The way to keep moving forwards and upwards is to look straight ahead all the time. I shouldn't look at anyone else, look sideways or behind. If my thoughts are weak, it means there is something wrong inside. If the soul becomes weak through having weak thoughts, the body becomes weak too. Actually, it is simple; those who inculcate the knowledge well remain very strong. Not only are they strong but those around them feel secure and comfortable in their company. When one soul is strong, it makes others confident too. That one is strong because of their trust in God. The responsibility belongs to the Boatman and so there is no fear. We cannot sit in the boat and not expect waves to toss the boat. If there is no water, how can the boat go across? If you are flying in a plane, can you expect the weather to be sunny all the time? The plane has to move up beyond the clouds and for that it has to fly through them. If the weather is bad and the plane is unstable, it is my duty to keep my seat-belt fastened. To travel up above I need a plain intellect. It is easier to make plans than it is to keep the intellect plain. The latter requires trust and faith. Plans come into practical when the intellect is kept plain. If the intellect continues to fly in all directions, service will no doubt take place, but my stage will fluctuate. Not only did I come into upheaval but I disturbed my fellow-passengers as well. Keep faith in the process - it may take time just as a normal plane takes time to take-off. I need to sit patiently during that time and allow the plane to do its task. Many don't know how to sit peacefully. They seem to be experts in becoming peaceless - and in saying, "I don't know, why what, how etc.." and thus changing the whole atmosphere. In fact, no-one can stay peaceful with the power of faith. Think about this. Sometimes we wish for something but another thing happens. We need to realise that whatever is fixed in drama has to happen. My companion is the Benefactor; there is definitely something beneficial behind everything that happens. We have to think deeply to be able to see the benefit. Perhaps my ego and arrogance had to end; maybe I was beginning to develop ego about being a knowledgeful and yogi soul and this situation came to make me aware of my ego. When I feel discomfort and show it, those around me get affected. They too start thinking, "Yes, I feel the same." I shouldn't allow myself to get caught up in a web of waste and create any type of sickness. I will then need to be put on a drip and receive someone's love to get better. In fact, God's love is such a sustenance that we never need to reach a low stage. God has and still is giving a lot of sustenance, but I need to learn to use it. When a foundation-laying ceremony takes place they dig deep and then call a Brahmin to carry out the ritual of laying the stone. They then build the structure on top, brick by brick. Even if I am not part of the foundation (establishment), I am still a brick in the building. Only strong bricks are used in construction. Ask yourself: what kind of brick am I? Every brick is useful, whether it is part of a pillar,a wall or a foundation. To become an instrument for the establishment of the Golden Age means to become a support of the building. No matter which category I belong to, I have to remain strong; I am part of the original, eternal deity religion. I am not a warrior who constantly fluctuates.
