Power of words !

So hua yun ki ..one day swami Ghasitanand ji were giving lecture to

his disciples. Swamiji were telling abt the power of words. That day

we had an unusual guest, a senior officer of the government who came

in sarkari gadi, with red-light blinking. The way he was listening

to the lecture was if he was doing a great favour to swamiji by

listening to him. When swamiji was telling about the power of words,

he barked in between," This is all non-sense. How can a simple word

take us to moksha. Swami just now you told to chant Hari, now hari is

a name of god but it also means monkey in sanskrit. Now how will god

know we are chanting his name or calling a monkey. I am a logical man

and i can not be convinced by these follies."

 

And he himself laughed on his cheap joke. Swamiji continued

without interruption. After sometime he again cried," Swami pls

explain to me...i dont approve words having any powers"

 

Swamiji at once shouted at him," keep quite you son of a

donkey"...at this the officer stood up trembling. He cried,"YOu

idiot swami...I came here to listen your lecture and if you are

fooling public and i interrupted you called me son of donkey...you

dont know me...i can get you arrested here and now" He was trembling

with rage!

 

Swami Ghasitanandji told him," Sit down my child... I didnot want

to hurt you. You asked a question that words do not have any

power...and i answered you.

 

"How...by abusing me?" He ejaculated

 

"NO...You are very logical man now you tell me. I called you son of a

donkey. It can not be logicallly correct...because your father was a

man, not a doneky...also biologically it is impossible to produce a

child by crossing a donkey and a woman....so when my statement is

logically incorrect, then the words should not have any effect on you.

 

See how you are trembling with rage...see how upset you are on my

few words.

 

So dont say again that words have no power !!
