Sadaiktwam na bhedoasti sarwadaiv mamasya Cha

Yo-aso Sahmaham yo-asau bhedoasti khalu vibhramat

 

"I and Brahm are one, and there is no difference between

us. What He is I am and what I am,He too is. We look different due

to illusion(of Maya)."

 

During Mahabharata, when Shri Krishna saw that the war between

Kauravas and Pandavas was imminent, he told Arjuna ,¡¨ Hey Mahabahu

Arjuna. To defeat the enemies, you must worship Mother Durga and

take boon of victory from Her.

 

Hence Arjuna, taking guidance from Shri Krishna started

worshipping Durga as ,¡¨ O! leader of the Siddha-yogins you have

abode

in the highest of mountains (loka)¡K.you are eternal virgin, you are

Kaal-shakti please accept my Namaskar

 

I worship you as Bhadrakali and as Mahakali.

I worship you as Chandika, full of anger

O! the most beautiful Mother¡Kyou destroy all the obstacles I bow

to you

O goddess of great luck, you are also worshipped as Katyayani,

Karali, Jaya and Vijaya

O! Eldest Mother you are the daughter of Nand Gopa

O! Kaushiki, you love to drink blood of Mahishasur

Hey Devi you always love wars and destructions¡K I bow to you.

You are Uma, you are Shakambhari, you are Maheshwari

You are Kaitabhnashini, you are Hiranyakshi, you are virupakshi,

Dhurakshi

I bow to you in all manifestations

You are the knower of Past, present and future,

You are established in the temples of Bharat (India)

You are Mohini, Maya, Lajja, Lakshmi, Sandhya, Prabhavati, Savitri

and Janani¡K..etc

 

When Arjuna worshipped Durga with concentration and devotion,

Mother Durga appeared before him and said,¡¨ O Arjuna while Shri

Krishna, the Narayan Himself is with you in this battlefield, I ought

to be on your side¡K..The one who gets the blessings of Narayana,

automatically gets my blessings because we are one not two. In this

battle I bless you to get victory over your enemies.

What a great and beautiful truth about Advaita, Vishishta-advaita

and dvaita¡K..can be found in this little incident !!!!

 

Someone can ask If Shri Krishna himself was Brahm, why he asked

Arjuna to worship Durga ? Couldn't He himself bless Arjuna with all

the victory ?
