Aim-ambitamey Naditame Devitme Saraswati

Aprashasta Iva smasi Prashstim-Amb Naskridhi

O execellent in Mothers, excellent in rivers, execellent in all

goddesses, we are ignorant by the darkness of knowledge hence O

mother give us success and treasures (of knowledge)

>From the root "Sri" the word "Saras" comes which means the unhindered

Motion (of the universe)….so the shakti who moves in the universe

without any resistance or hinderance is called "Saraswati"…..

Ether at rest is darkness, and ether in motion is light. so wherever

the shakti is un-hindered there is the light (of knowledge and wisdom)

…and the Shakti who is controller of this Motion in the Universe is

Saraswati Tattwa.

Saraswati is knowledge, saraswati is wisdom, saraswati is light. All

Rhythms in the universe are Saraswati's shaktis hence where there is

rhythm there is Saraswati.

This Saraswati Shakti is manifesting as Mother, as rivers and as gods

for the welfare of Jivatamas. She is the excellent Mother as "Word"

hence she is also called Matrika-swarupini.

She is "Brahm-gyan"….she is the "Naad" on which the Universe is

based. she is the movement of the air and the fluidity of waters.

She is the four states of Voice (Vaikhari, Madhyma,Pashyanti and

Para).

In ancient times when Shumbha and Nishumbha (asuras) snatched all

from Indra and other gods, they went to Himalaya and worshipped Devi

Bhagwati to save them. Then Mother Parvati was passing from there

and from her body, appeared Saraswati…that is why she is also called

Kaushiki..

Saraswati's killing of demons denotes that if Mother Saraswati

pleases by our devotion and worship, she destroy all the negativity

in us and thus make us pure for attaining Moksha.

Saraswati is the Vritti which is Brahm-aakaar….a single thought

which does yoga of Jivatma with Paramatma.

Bathing in all sacred rivers, donation of all the property one have,

performing all Yajnas mentioned in the scriptures, or worhipping all

the gods, does not have such powerful effect as is had by having

Brahmakaar Vritti for once…..that is manifestation of Mother

Saraswati in our Antha-karana.

Mother Saraswati destroys darkness and avidya and brings Gyan,

leading to Moksha in us.

Saraswati may be worshipped by following Mantra

AUM AIM Saraswatye Namah.

Lord KRISHNA says to RADHARANI in Brahma Vaivarta Purana -

O Radhey! Just as You are My Beloved Soul of Goloka

and the Queen of Gokula,

You also manifest as Maha Lakshmi and Sarasvati in Vaikuntha,

and also as Martyalakshmi, the consort of Lord Vishnu.

You appear as the opulent form of Santi who is the wife of

Dharmaputra.

You alone are Bharati Sati, the consort of Kapila Deva.

You manifest in Dvaraka, as Mahalakshmi, Queen Rukmini and Your shadow

Itself takes up the form of Draupadi Sati.

You ALONE appear in Mithila as Sita Devi and become the Beloved of Sri

Rama and are abducted by Ravana.

Jaya Sri Radhey!
