Guest guest
Namaste. Dear Baba ji, You've heard a totally wrong presentation of 'Ajamil story from the Bhagavatam'. Have you read 'Bhagavatam' by yourself? How can we blame the 'Bhagavata Maha Purana' without at least finding out what was actually written in its verses? Please go through the 6th canto, chapters one and two. And you'll easily find out who is telling the truth and not. There are many great misconceptions being circulated among guillable audience through the lectures given by various naive speakers. Sri Kripaluji Maharaj even ridicules this misinterpretation given by many other Hindu teachers, revealing the true story of Ajamil from Bhagavatam itself, as it is! - Actually Ajamil had not expired but was unconscious on his death bed. He visualized both Vishnu-dutas as well as Yama-dutas and heard their conversation about his pious deeds and sinful acts. When they disappeared, Ajamil regained his concsciouness and woke up from his coma and reflected upon the conversation he heard. He sincerely regretted all his past sinful behavior and came to his senses. With a firm determination he left the town renouncing his family (including that son Narayana whom he was supposedly calling with attachment) and settled down in Hari dwar Ashram totally absorbed in Bhakti Yoga. After many years of his dedicated sadhana of devotion in Divine Love, he was finally united with his Lord Vishnu by the Vishnu dutas. So you need to hear the truths given in Scriptures from a right source, the God-realized saints, ...zrotryia brahma niSTha Mahapurusha. And then you verify by actually reading the scripture to strengthen your faith in the Saintly teacher. Do not believe in him or her blindly. Faith is very important to derive any benefit from what we read or hear. I've included a few veses from Bhagavatam so that you can check them out for youself. Jaya Sri Radhey! SB 6.2.9-10: The chanting of the holy name of Lord Vishnu is the best process of atonement for a thief of gold or other valuables, for a drunkard, for one who betrays a friend or relative, for one who kills a brahmana, or for one who indulges in sex with the wife of his guru or another superior. It is also the best method of atonement for one who murders women, the king or his father, for one who slaughters cows, and for all other sinful men. Simply by chanting the holy name of Lord Vishnu, such sinful persons may attract the attention of the Supreme Lord, who therefore considers, "Because this man has called upon My holy name, My duty is to give him protection." SB 6.2.30: Was this a dream I saw, or was it reality? I saw fearsome men with ropes in their hands coming to arrest me and drag me away. Where have they gone? SB 6.2.31: And where have those four liberated and very beautiful persons gone who released me from arrest and saved me from being dragged down to the hellish regions? SB 6.2.35: I am such a sinful person, but since I have now gotten this opportunity, I must completely control my mind, life and senses and always engage in devotional sadhana so that I may not fall again into the deep darkness and ignorance of material life. SB 6.2.39: Because of a moment's association with devotees [the Vishnu-dutas], Ajamila detached himself from the material conception of life with determination. Thus freed from all material attraction, he immediately started for Hardwar. SB 6.2.40: In Hardwar, Ajamila took shelter at a Vishnu temple, where he absorbed himself in bhakti-yoga. He controlled his senses and fully applied his mind in the Divine service of the Lord. SB 6.2.41: Ajamila fully engaged in devotion. Thus he detached his mind from the desires of senses and became fully absorbed in thinking of the Divine form of the Lord. SB 6.2.42: When his intelligence and mind were fixed upon the form of the Lord, Ajamila once again saw before him four celestial persons. He could understand that they were those he had seen previously on his death bed and thus he offered them his obeisances by bowing down before them. SB 6.2.43: Upon seeing the Vishnu-dutas, Ajamila gave up his material body at Hardwar on the bank of the Ganges. He regained his original spiritual body, which was a body appropriate for an associate of the Lord. SB 6.2.44: Accompanied by the order carriers of Lord Vishnu, Ajamila boarded an airplane made of gold. Passing through the airways, he went directly to the abode of Lord Vishnu, the Husband of the Goddess of fortune. , beirut_ka_baba <no_reply> wrote: > So when Ajamil, due to his bad habits and sins reached the death > bed, he was in pains and wanted to see his son for the last time so > he called him "Narayan...O Narayan come to me " > > Meanwhile the Yamdutas had come to grab his soul and take to hell > for boiling and cutting. For clearing doubts about Ranchhor ji and Ajamil in such a logical and sane way, unlike other so-called bhaktas here who rush to bite, if questioned. I would also like to say to Nama_sivam that calling Scriputres a debris is not correct. Our scriptures are a great gift of the past, and it is because of them Santan Dharma survived for so many years. Of course, somewhere they were misunderstood, somewhere they were deliberately mis-interpreted, and somewhere they were destroyed and were re-written depending fully on memory. While it is also true tht scriptures need to be understood from some authority. I Object when someone says His guru is the only authority, or his book is the only scripture or his theory is the only correct way. Each one of us is Unique in a way. Our matrix of energies can be in tune with a certain type of sadhana, so we are attracted towards Karma, Bhakti, Gyan, Tantra, Mantra etc. according to our set up of mind and heart. Hence It is very wrong for a bhakta to say Gyanis are idiots or if a gyani says bhaktas are retarded. This is a very wrong approach and it shows our immaturity only. My experience is that Gyan, Bhakti, Karma, Tantra Make us understand our goal, and then comes LOVE which finally takes us to the Supreme. If Gyan has not awakened Love in us, then that gyana is simply a mental exercise not Sadhna. If Bhakti has not generated True knowledge in us then that Bhakti is not real bhakti. My aim is to respect all paths and all followers of these paths, encouraging them for their path and getting encouragement from them....and reach our goal Baba
Guest guest
When a learned-ed man like say stupid things which you said in your earlier mail............True friends would like to correct you....It dont matter even if it appears you to be biting.... My point was that you understand and talk........or just hear what more knowledgeable people have to say.....Or ask question......? There is no harm in that.... Again you have demonstrated that you are DOING HARM TO OTHERS even when your intention is to help others... You said ""Karma, Bhakti, Gyan, Tantra, Mantra etc. according to our set up of mind and heart.......There is no set up of mind.......Any one who goes to Saints like Shri Kripaluji Maharaj falls in Love of Radha and Krishna.....Bhakti automatically develops with HIS grace....Bhakti is for everyone...Even Karmai, Gyani etc etc all have to do bhakti or their goals can never be reached..... There may be good sadhak's who became Guru or who are made Guru by others...But they are still sadhaks..They can not give you what they dont have....According to scriptures they cant be called True Guru's,,even though their intention is not to cheat their followers, they are not True Guru... Not only us the devotees of Shri Kurupaluji Maharaj but all saints in India learned ed scholars...Religious preachers....and Kashi Vidvat Parishat...Have acknowledge that Shri Kripaluji Maharaj is Jagadgurutaam.........means Top most amongst all the previous four Jagadgurus..and Not only that HE is seen and worshiped by many many as Avatar of Chaitanya Mahapraphu......SO IN OTHER WORDS YOU CAN SAY HE IS RADHA HERSELF AND KRISHNA HIMSELF... Thats why I keep on calling you, Come to HIM and you will changed person..Dont take it as blabbering......and repeating same thing again and again.....I want you to ac hive highest Goal possible for any humans.....Come you search will be over here...Please request Shri Gasitaram ji also to come and take Shri Maharaj ji's blessing..It will be the biggest gift you can give to your Guru..You can present HIM God...I cant be more open then this... It up to you..
Guest guest
Namaste all. Here is a wonderful shloka from Srimad Bhagavatham by Sri Veda Vyasa, the compiler of Vedas about HOW Lord Krishna was PERCIEVED by different people EVEN during His advent! This shloka is very familiar to all devotees who has heard Sri Kripaluji Maharaj's discourses. mallAnAmazanir nRNAM naravaraHstrINAM smaro mUrtimAn gopAnAM svajano'satAM kSitibhujAM zAstrA svapitroH zizuH mRtyur bhoja pater virADa dUSAM tattvaM paraM yoginAm vrSNInAM paradevateti vidito raGgaM gataH sAgrajAH Srimad Bhagavatam- 10.43.17 The various groups of people in the arena regarded Krishna in different ways when He entered it with His elder brother. The wrestlers saw Him as a lightning bolt, the men of Mathura as the best of males, the women folk as Cupid in person, the cowherd men as their relative, the impious rulers as a chastiser, His parents as their child, the King of the Bhojas (Kamsa) as death, the wicked as the Cosmic universal form, the yogis as the Absolute Truth and the Yadavas as their Supreme worshipable Deity. When Lord Krishna, accompanied by His brother Balarama entered the palace arena of king Kamsa, He was percieved differently by ALL those assembled there, ACCORDING to their deservedness and PURITY of their hearts. The wrestlers saw Him as Thuderbolt. When they shook hands with Him, and failed to bend even a tender finger of His, they DID NOT realize that He was NONE OTHER THAN the Supreme Being Himself, possessing more strength than countless wrestlers put together! The common people saw Him as an active and intelligent Kid! The young maidens, enraptured by His Divine beauty, saw Him as Kamadeva (god of beauty and love)in Personified Form! The Gopas, Cowherd boys saw Him as their DEAR MOST Friend! His Parents affectionately looked at Him as their Darling Child! For King Kamsa, He was the veritable God of Death, Yamaraja, in fearful Form! The wicked-minded people saw Him as a gigantic Person with thousands of heads, thousands of eyes, thousands of hands, and the flames of thousands of suns leaping out from His mouth! They began trembling with fear percieving this formidable Form! The Yogis percieved Him as the Supreme Paramatma, the Absolute Truth! The devotees of the Yadava clan saw Him as their family Deity! The same situation was descibed by Saint Tulsidas in 'Rama Carita Manas'. Sri Tulasidas had taken special care to REVEAL this FACT (just as Veda Vyasa did in Bhagavatam)! When Lord Ramacandra stood in the palace of King Janaka to lift the mighty bow of Lord Siva, everyone saw Him in DIFFERENT Forms ACCORDING TO their individual PURITY of MIND and HEART! 'jAkI rahI bhAvanA jaisI prabhu mUrati dekhI tina taisI' The warriors saw Him as the very embodiment of strength and heroism! The wicked kings trembled at the very sight of Him, as they saw a terrible Form! The demons who were sitting there disguised as princes, beheld the Lord as DEATH in Personified Form! The clever and cunning men percieved Him in His Cosmic Form! To the Yogis and Saints He shone forth as the Highest TRUTH! The devotees saw Him as their BELOVED Lord Rama, the Fountainhead of BLISS!! The ecstatic emotions of Mother Sita Devi were INDESCRIBABLE !!! We can never PERCIEVE the TRUE Divine Form of God with our DEFECTIVE material VISION. Sri Tulasi das declares - 'cidAnanda maya deha tumhArI vigata vikAra jAna adhikArI ' The Divine Form of Lord can NEVER be SEEN with material eyes! We require Divine VISION to percieve Him! We DO NOT understand His Divinity and we CAN NOT attain the Divine vision as yet, because we DO NOT deserve it!!! (From - "Prema-Rasa-Siddhant", by Jagadguru Sri Rama Kripalu Maharaj Ji) Jaya Sri Radhey! , beirut_ka_baba <no_reply> wrote: > My aim is to respect all paths and all followers of these paths, > encouraging them for their path and getting encouragement from > them....and reach our goal > > Baba
Guest guest
Radhe Radhe Pyari ji, Yes I agree with you.......But our today's Sanskars are what we did in past........We after knowing that Bhakti is the only marg by which mayanivruti and parmanandprapti can be ac hived, can have a fresh start.....Next birth our Sanskar will be of Bhakti Marg..... When Gyani after crossing Aahankar become mukta and again return to earth planet to do bhaakti .........Why not do Bhakti in first place.....? Yes the sadhak has choices ....he can become one with God, keeps his identity or what ever he likes.....it all can be ac hived only by Bhakti....Those prescribing Gyan marg in to days times are purely cheating.... As you said you have seen people after meeting Shri Maharaj ji......turned back with out any result........We may be wrong....Who knows what Kripa Shri Maharaj ji may have done to them? They might Join Bhakti at later stage...No one goes empty hand after coming to Shri Maharaj ji......Old Sanskars get burnt...Have we not experienced it..? Shri Maharaji HIMSELF says.......stay in touch with a Mahapurush and shraddha, bhakti everthing will automatically come to you...... If we give Sanskar as basis of going to Shri Maharaj ji.....How come patit of patit who never did anything good got into bhakti and became saints....? Who_make_sense pyari_h <no_reply> wrote: Namaste all. I am in agreement with Baba ji. Even during the descension period of Lord Krishna or Gauranga Mahaprabhu, how many were blessed with selfless Divine Love? How many souls were not favorable to, and even had opposed Their missions! One has to earn pious 'sanskaras', devotional merits in previous lives to be attracted to the teachings of Rasik Saints. I have known many people who have heard the discourses and come to meet Jagadguru Sri Kripaluji Maharaj in person but are not attracted nor accepted him as their Spiritual guide. It all depends on one's sadhana and sanskaras by which one's surrender to a particular saint is accomplished. Mail Stay connected, organized, and protected. Guest guest
Namaste. I recall the wise instructions of Sri Kripaluji Maharaj to his devotees in this regard. When we go to any public mall or market we come across various shops. The stores selling shoes, food delicacies, clothing apparel, musical and electronic gadgets, home furnishings, books, diamond jewelery and so on. Whoever in need of a particular item peacefully shops at the respective shop but never pays unnecessary visit to other stores nor wastes his or her precious time. The customer does not pick a quarrel with the rest of the shopkeepers who are in the business of selling things other than what is interesting to this customer. If the customer condemns or abuses other merchants in the market we understand it to be improper behavior. Similarly various kinds of philosophies and sadhanas exist for the sake of different seekers according to their spiritual evolution. If a devotee interested in enjoying sweet delicacy of 'Rasa gullah' will not pay a visit to a shoe-store and find fault with the manager there saying, " When I am having an intense desire to taste the nectar of Rasagullah, what is the point of keeping a store selling shoes here to me?" This is simply ridiculous. These other shops do exist to serve the needs of other customers. They are there with a purpose to serve a variety of tastes. But to different classes of customers altogether. So a sincere seeker who has been well informed and attracted to selfless Divine Love, pure Bhakti Yoga and who has developed intense greed to obtain the Vraja Rasa, Krishna Prema, should approach the Rasik Saint with faith and surrender. There is no need to waste our precious human life in arguements and the limited valuable time in other pursuits.
