Will you kindly be clear and straight and honest. I would love to learn anything new from you because i have added you in list of my gurus after Swami Ghasitanand ji Maharaj...love and blessings ------------------------------- dear totaly (not) useless.. there was nothing wrong in your reply.. but i just remembered that story after reading yr post. Guest guest
Desires are important part of creation and continuance of the Universe. Desires brought us from dead matter to plants and to animals and finally to human being. Hence we can not blame desires for our Bandhan/chains. Had we not have desired, we would have been lying as dead matter somewhere in the universe. But the same desire is keeping us busy in the universe too. One Desire, if fulfilled, gives birth to dozen other desires. It is like Raktabeeja of Devi Bhagvatam. And if desire is supressed, it comes back with tremendous force destroying all our tapas, all our yoga and leaves us far behind from our progress. What is the solution then ? Guest guest
Agreed. One should desire and work hard for it's fulfillment, honestly, diligently and ethically. But don't get attached to the result of the desire. If after all the sincere effort a contrary result ensues, accept it as the will of the Lord. Surrender the fruits of your actions and desires at the feet of the Lord, If the desire is fulfilled, accept it as the grace of the Lord, rather than the result of your efforts. Have a Prasad Buddhi and Isvara Arpana Buddhi. That is the trick.
