Hello everyone :)

I havent been able to post anything in the club due to my tendon and wrist

problem, it seems that I overdid it with typing with my computer and

building my websites that my hands dont want to have anything to do with the

mouse or keybord anymore. so I am more of an observer now in the group

rather than being able to type much. Even with my hand pain I couldnt

resist the temptation to reply very shortly to the question posed about how

to erase the effects of bad karma. I once read in yogatattwa upanishad that

the chanting of om in spesific way burns negative karma. That spesific way

is to chant it shortly and quickly. I think yogattwa upanishad is worth

reading if you can get it. It describes also advanced ways of pranayama and

their supernatural results in a very interesing and almost funny way.

Another way to erase the effect of negative karma is to create positive one,

in my opinion. And positive karma can be created through positive thoughts

and deeds concerning not only others (like charity, helping, selfless

service/seva/karma yoga) but also concerning ourself. Which means having

respect for the health of our body, mind and soul. I would like to conclude

by laying empassis on the fact that karma yoga, as its name also denotes is

related to karma and is a great way to wash off negativities and karma.

Selfless service, meditation and positive thinking are very important for

spiritual advancement.

PS: Tapasya is also a way to wash off negative karmas.
