Group Karma

Another example will throw more light on Group Karma. In 1984 when

Indian PM, Mrs.Gandhi was brutally murdered by her Sikh body guards,

all the Sikhs all over India had to bear the brunt of mob fury. In

Delhi alone thousands of innocent Sikhs were brutally murdered by

mob, their children killed their women raped.

 

In Delhi my friend witnessed a mob chasing a Sikh youth of

22 years who was finally nabbed, his turban torn, his hairs cut and

finally he was burnt by putting tyres around his neck and burning

it. Now the individuals had no personal enmity with the youth, but

owing to mass hysteria, they murdered the youth out of sheer fury.

Now that mob of some 100 people and 100s others who witnessed the

incident happily or stoically will all bear the fruit of this

killing. In a birth, when they are all together in a plane or in a

train or near the sea shore or near a river, Mother Nature will give

them back what they earned. Either through a natural calamity or by

accident, all of them will die the same brutal death, as they did to

that Sikh boy, even if their memory would be having no traces of

that crime.

 

As per law of Karma, the fruit of our Karma multiplies in

geometrical progression with the passage of time. The later is the

time of repay of Karma, the more will be severity of

punishment/purification. So even a small insult hurled to an

innocent or a higher soul, if repaid late may cause greater harm.

That z why those on the path of sadhna, get fruits of their bad

Karma/negative karma sooner than the non-sadhakas, because Mother

Nature do not wish them to keep negativity in them for longer

periods, otherwise they have to pay heavily.

 

For the same reasons sadhaka's good works are normally not

rewarded in this birth because Mother Nature wishes them to keep

positive energy of that Karma for longer periods so that it

multiplies manifolds by the passage of time. This theory also

clarifies as to why good people suffer more and don't get fruits for

their good karma in a birth.

 

Hence for group karma: one has to understand the Karmic

chemistry of the Nature.

 

=> If we are witnessing tyranny we should try to stop it….otherwise

we will also be punished by nature

 

=> If we are not capable of stopping the tyranny…we should try to

move away while feeling pain of the sufferer, and praying god to

help that innocent soul…this will save us from fury of Mother Nature

 

=> In any case, we should not become a part of crime done by a mob,

by keeping mum, or by saying they have done right, or by doing

anything which encourages such incidents in future. Like the

terrorists who kill innocent people by bombing/shooting will be

punished, but those who help them or have sympathy with them, or

consciously keep quiet over their act, will be equally responsible.

 

And what ever may we think of ourselves, what ever power we

have, Mother Nature's tiny wave can shatter our ego in seconds…..we

are nothing before the Universal System and its energies……our

social/economical/political status may make some people afraid of us

but all our powers, if compared to the power of the System, are

like a small cracker in comparison to millions of Hydrogen

Bombs…..If we understand this concept, perhaps we would be saved

from the fury of Mama Kali.
