A well known scholar of Hinduism Dr.so-n-so one day reaches

Rishikesh to meet a yogi said to have realised God. Excerpts of his

interview:-

 

Dr._ they say you have realised God is it true?

Swami - I have realised myself.

Dr.- OK did you see God ?How was he like ?

Sw - No HE saw me !!

Dr.- please be straight to me reply logically so that I can tell

the world about your realisation.

Sw -Logics ? it is logic which I first left before my journey !

Dr.- OK tell me Did you speak to god?

Sw - NO he spoke to me !

Dr_ What did He say?

Sw- dont know ! he spoke something but it was not in words.

Dr - OK what did you understand ?

Sw - I understood nothing...but his voice filled me with ecstacy.

Dr.- Was God like Krishna, Shiva, Jesus or Durga ?

Sw - hmmm yes he was naughty like Krishna, innocent like Shiva and

glamorous like Durga... he was perhaps all of these.

Dr. What did you do to realise God ?

Sw - I did nothing. HE did come down and embraced me!!

Dr. I mean you did some Pranayama, special Japa or some Yogic

Meditation ?

Sw - No but when I was with him, all of these meditations were

happening in me.

Dr.- Please reply seriously, why are you smiling in between? Are

you making fun of me ?

Sw - I am not smiling. He is still laughing inside me which is

leaking out as smile.

Dr.- OK tell me how did you feel when you saw God. You feared? or

trembled or felt happiness or something like?

Sw - I was all away from these...these feelings were perhaps

suppressed by bliss !

 

Dr. - What is your message for your disciples ?

Sw - No message... just He Loves us, only we need to start

loving Him.

Dr - What Japa or Yoga u suggest one should do to see God !

Sw - Ha ha ha ha...HE decides what we have to do !

Dr so-n-so, after this interview concluded Swamy has no knowledge of

Yoga, pranayma or sacred books. It is quite possible he was under a

fit of mental disturbance which he took as enlightenment !
