Please Forgive me For not Posting For so Long!My Wife,Radhanam Devi

Dasi Has Been Very Sick,As Her Liver is hardly working, and We have

Been Away,At Richmond VA,Where we are Hoping Lord Krsna, Will Let Her

have a Liver transplant!She took a Turn for the Worst ,in these last

3 months,ButI am going to Now Post, Srimad Bhagavatam Verses,and

Bhagavad Gita Verses,Along with Classes,And Lectures From Srila

Prabhupada!Im going to start this Posting From a Lecture My Diksa

Gurudeva Has Given,His Name is Radhanath Maharaja,And I promised

Him,I would only use His Name ,If I Say He is Following in the

Footsteps of our dear Acarya Srila Prabhupada,And as I Understand

Srila Prabhupada,Was Very Mercyfull,to My Gurudeva,A pure Devotee,and

He was Also Very Fond of Him,Because He Repeats The Words of Srila

Prabhupada,In a Way,Everyone Can Understand!I offer Obiesances at His

Lotus Feet,Your Servant

How we can best serve………………………………………..…...... Nectarean Mellows

Some people are very attached to this caste or that caste. These

things are very helpful for maintaining the tradition of religion

within society but if you become too much attached to these concepts,

you simply have to take another birth. You are cast into another

caste. Maintaining caste is good only to the extent that it is

preservation of the highest principles of service to God. Any

external designation, which is not connected or linked to the service

of God should be rejected. Any external designation that can be

utilized in the service of the Lord should be accepted. One time a

famous Rock-n -roll star became a Hare Krishna devotee. He was from

the most famous rock- n-roll band of the entire world. They were

making millions of dollars, hundreds and thousands of dollars in one

night. And everywhere they go, there will be tens and thousands of

people waiting for them, and try to see them and touch them, to talk

to them to hear them- anything. One of these four people became a

devotee. And he came to Prabhupada. He said, "Srila Prabhupada, I

want to be a devotee. I have millions of dollars. I have mansions. I

have women. I have fame beyond anyone's imagination. But I'm not

happy. There are tens and thousands of people waiting to see them

everywhere I go. I'm lonely. What is the use of all these things? I

want Krishna. I'll give up everything for Krishna. I'll shave my long

hair. I'll throw my guitar in the Ganges and surrender to your lotus

feet." Srila Prabhupada told him, "Krishna has given you these very

precious giftsof your ability and your fame. Don't give up your

career as a musician. Do it for Krishna. Sing songs that will bring

people closer to Krishna. Because of your name and fame, whatever you

sing about, people will buy and listen to you. So teach them about

Krishna. You can do more that all of our movement put together. If

you become a brahmachari, all you would be doing is washing some

pots. Use what Krishna has given you." And he did, he sang one

song, "Oh my sweet Lord..." And in that song, he chants `Hare

Krishna.' And millions of people began chanting `Hare Krishna'

through that song in the west; and literally thousands of people

joined the movement on the basis of hearing that song. Because a real

Guru teaches that whatever can be used positively in Krishna's

service should not be rejected. But should be accepted. The only

question is, "How we can best serve."
