Guest guest
Hari Aum! The grossest manifestation of the soul is mind and the grossest manifestation of mind is matter. The divinity sleeps an eternal slumber in matter and is in an un- conscious state, not non-conscious as claimed by science. Sub-conscious first wakes up in the matter and the divinity manifests itself as plants, then mind wakes up from sub-conscious (in animals) and finally Budhhi starts shining under the veil of Mind. But the evolution of divinity does not end here with the manifestation of intelligence. As per the evolution plan, another finer manifestation of divinity is slowly appearing i.e. VIVEKA. All our guilts, all our discontents, and all our sufferings, all our feelings of imperfections are nothing but a labour pain of the divinity to express herself in her next higher manifestation. The plan will continue from viveka to Pragya and finally Ritambhra Pragya, a state of mind where it is illumined fully in the light of Truth and can understand the Truth behind all sat and asat. And all this has to be achieved in this Universe, here among the crowd of friends and foes, pains and joys, sufferings and comforts becoz these surely are the grounds on which divinity has to stand affirm and rise towards its full manifestation. In such a circumstance, would it be wiser to be selfish enough to think of ourselves and get Moksha by rejecting the Universe and its manifestation. A myth about Budhha is (which i feel is not a myth but highest of truths ever known) that when Budhha was on the thresholds of Non- Existence, his soul turned backwards and promised herself," till a single soul in the universe is in bounds..I will not cross this threshold of non-returning" Let that pious soul help us in our yearning for truth Just blabberings of an old man ) Nachiketa
Guest guest
Dear Umaji, Hari Om, Thanks for thinking about me. I was away to Haridwar for a month to attend some discourses on Gita, Upanishads and Brahma Sutras, together called "Prasthan Treiye. Since my return I have been caught up in some ongoing problems of computer, telephone and internet, which is quite normal in this part of the world. I shall try to participate in the group discussions as and when the time permits. Thanks once again. radhakutir - <tatwamasi <> 04 May, 2004 8:34 AM Re: Purnamadam ! > To each according to his consciounessness. > > If one is at a level of duality, then yes Maya is the mistake of the > intellect .. that which makes the rope appear to be the snake.
