Guest guest
SRIMAD BHAGAVATA MAHAPURANA. Part II, Book 10 Perceiving such supreme love of Nanda and Yasoda for Lord Sri Krsna, Uddhava joyfully spoke to Nanda while in Vraja: Indeed you two are the most praiseworthy of all embodied beings here on this earth. O bestower of honour, such unique love has been conceived by you for Sri Krsna, the Father and Controller of all. Indeed Balarama and Sri Krsna are both the material and efficient cause of the universe. They are also the Purusa and Pradhana. (Prakriti) Entering into the living organisms, They control the various types of consciousness, in the form of the individual soul conditioned by those organisms, eternal as They are. Focusing one's impure mind on Sri Krsna for an instant at the time of death one speedily attains the supreme goal, burning the store of Karma and becoming One with Brahma, the Absolute, and attaining a form consisting of sattva unmixed with rajas and tamas. You cherish great devotion to That Supreme Spirit, Lord Narayana, the Soul, as well as the Source of all, who has assumed a human semblance for some purpose. What meritorious act remains to be done by you two? At no distant date will the divine Sri Krsna, the Protector of the Yadus, come back to Vraja and bring delight to you, His parents. Sri Krisna will make good what He told you on coming back after killing Kamsa, the enemy of the Yadus, in the midst of an assembly. Grieve not, O highly blessed ones; you will find Sri Krsna by your side. He dwells in the heart of created beings as fire is in wood. Indeed none is unwelcome to Him, who is not identified with a body. Nor is anyone superior or inferior nor even unequal in His eyes. He being the same to all. Guest guest
Jaya Sri Radhey! The great Advaita acarya, Sri Madhusudana Saraswati declared: "dhyAnAbhyAsa vazIkRtena manasA tannirguNaM niSkriyaM jyotiH kiJcana yogino yadi paraM pazyanti pazyantu te asmAkaM tu tadeva locana camatkArAya bhUyAcciraM kAlindI pulineSu yat kimapi tannIlaM maho dhAvati! BUT, for FILLING OUR BLESSED EYES with STRANGE ASTONISHMENT and RAPTURE LET THERE BE FOREVER that INDESCRIBABLE BLUE FORM OF LIGHT ALONE, WHICH RUNS about HITHER and THITHER on the SANDY BEACHES of the KALINDI (YAMUNA) RIVER!!! I DO NOT KNOW ANY ABSOLUTE REALITY BEYOND THAT OF LORD KRISHNA, WHOSE Delicate Hands are adorned with Divine Flute, WHOSE BLUE Bodily luster is that of a fresh rain-cloud, WHOSE Silken Attire is the Golden yellow robe, WHOSE Delicious Lips are like the red, ripened fruit, WHOSE Charming Face is beautiful like the cool full moon, and WHOSE Loving eyes are like the petals of blooming lotus flower!!! -Sri Mudhusudana Sarasvati-Gudaartha dipika Jaya Sri Radhey! Guest guest
Namaste all. parAkRta namad bandhaM paraMbarahma narAkRtiM saundarya sAra sarvasvaM vande nandAtmajaM mahaH - gUDArtha dIpika, Ch.14. Advaita acharya Sri Madhusudana Sarasvati I adore the great Personality, the Son of Nanda, Who removes all the bondage of those that worship (Him), Who is the Supreme Brahman in the form of a Human being, and Who is all that is the Essence of beauty. -------- Sri Kripapluji Maharaj often recites many beautiful verses from Upanishads, Ramayan and Bhagavatam in his discourses to reveal the greatness of Lord Krishna and Prema Bhakti, the selfless Divine Love. The Cosmic creator Lord Brahma who received Vedic knowledge directly from the Lord, offered many wonderful, enlightening prayers to Sri Krishna in 14th chapter of 10th canto: "You are the only Truth, the Self, the Purusha, the Ancient One, Who are self-effulgent, infinite, the Cause, eternal, imperishable, unlimited Bliss, taintless, full, nondual, free from limiting adjuncts, and immortal." - Srimad Bhagavatam 10.14.23 King Parikshit asked Sukadeva Paramahamsa: O brahmana, how could the cowherd women have developed for Krishna, someone else's son, such unprecedented pure love — love they never felt even for their own children? Please explain this. All other things, whether children or property, are dear only because of the love one has for oneself. Therefore, O king, embodied beings never have as much affection for those like their children, wealth or homes, who are merely connected to them, as they do for the body, with which they identify themselves. O greatest of kings! Those who identify with the body, still have more affection for the soul than for the body, to which they are so attached. Thus, when the body grows old and becomes useless, they still continue to desire life. Therefore, one's own self is the most dear thing to every living being. It is for the sake of self the entire world exists, whether moving or unmoving. ||Bhagavatam 10.14.50-54 || na vA are patyuH kAmAya patiH priyo bhavaty Atmanas tu kAmAya patiH priyo bhavati | na vA are jAyAyai kAmAya jAyA priyA bhavaty Atmanas tu kAmAya jAyA priyA bhavati | ... na vA are sarvasya kAmAya sarvaM priyaM bhavaty Atmanas tu kAmAya sarvaM priyaM bhavati | AtmA vA are draSTavyaH zrotavyo mantavyo nididhyAsitavyo maitreyy Atmano vA are darzanena zravaNena matyA vijJAnenedaM sarvaM viditam | Sri Maharaj ji's devotees are also very familiar with his melodious chanting of shloka 2.4.5 of 'Brihad Aranyaka Upanishad', which too supports this universal truth. kRSNam enam avehi tvam AtmAnam akhilAtmanAm jagad-dhitAya so'py atra dehIvAbhAti mAyayA Sri Suka continued: This Krishna is the Self of all selves. For the benefit of the world, he has appeared here by his illusory power, as though an embodied being. vastuto jAnatAm atra kRSNaM sthAsnu cariSNu ca bhagavadrUpam akhilaM nAnyad vastviha kiJcana - Srimad Bhagavatam 10.14.56 God-realized saints in this world see Lord Krishna in all things, whether fixed or moving, as multiple projected forms of the Supreme Lord. Such enlightened persons recognize no truth apart from Lord Sri Krisha. sarveSAmapi vastUnAM bhAvArtho bhavati sthitaH tasyApi bhagavAn kRSNaH kim atad vastu rUpyatAm - Srimad Bhagavatam 10.14.57 Of all things the essential substance rests in the spiritual self.
