Guest guest
Namaskar, A very close friend of mine sent me this very good page from a site http://www.snowgoose.org/mid.htm , and Iwould like to share with all. :- It's easy all you do is invite a group of friends to come together for a potluck or picnic on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. It can be at your home, a park, the local church, school, or community center. The main thing is to not make a big deal out of it. Just have friends come together with a dish for 12 people that they made with love for a potluck or a picnic, and a chair or blanket for their comfort, and invite that neighbor down the street that you've never spoken to, or maybe don't even like. You get together at 1:00 p.m. and the event goes on until sundown. At sundown, everyone lights candles one candle per family or person or whatever and you all face East and have 60 seconds of silence and send your collective love all around the Earth, until that love goes all around the Earth and comes back and kicks you in the butt, jumping you one foot forward with the joyous shout of, "We did it! We did it! We send love all the way around the whole Earth!" Look, the most important thing to remember is that this is a day of fun, and no one talks about politics, religion, racial, or economic differences. On this day, there is only one race--the human race-- one family all over the Earth. We are all unique and special, giving thanks for the good things that happened to us throughout the year-- no causes or principles , no moral judgments--only laughter, feasting, and singing. Also, it's important that each person meets at least three to five new people that they have never interfaced with before. Shake hands, look into each other's eyes, and say "Hi." My name is so-and so, and I'm thankful this year because..." And if you can't think of anything to be thankful for then you simply say because you had a good bowel movement, you're breathing, alive, and hungry, and there's plenty of food! Truly, you meet people with a smile and you hear what they're thankful for, and the magic starts happening. It's wonderful! People will start smiling, grinning, and they won't know why! Children will start laughing and playing, and they will know why-- because they will feel safe at last, knowing that we've all finally come together as one people, one family, and life is wonderful! We don't encourage alcohol or sports or TV watching. We do encourage interaction between people face to face, eye to eye. Some towns have started out with only 16 people the first year, and by the third year they have hundreds. Our goal is one million locations by the year 2026, with a thousand people per location. With a billion voices sending love around the planet, facing East, every blade of grass, every tree, every animal, every human, every fish will feel our vibrations of love and we'll all feel a little better. Truly, we the people are the power, and once we stand up with our collective love then our leaders will start making decisions that are a little more giving and gentle for all of us. It's in the bag. At no time in human history have we had this availability of communications--TV, radio, satellite, fax machines, telephone, or the Internet. We can finally dissolve our fear-based collective mentality and go into a world of abundance and goodwill for all. One hundred years ago, no human could have dreamed what we now have-- freeways, airplanes, cars, etc. Well, within another hundred years, we are going to be harmonious people all over the planet. No longer will be trying to control and conquer the world, but instead we'll understand that when God created the Universe, meaning One Song, One Verse, One Great Symphony, it was always meant for us to bring harmony to our planet and "do" peace. 5,000 years of World Peace is not a farfetched idea or principle, but a habit--something we do automatically because we're all good people all over the planet. So let's do it! Right now! If not you, then who? If not now, then when? Hope you all love it
