It is a scientific art designed to teach one mastery of the mind and senses. It is a spiritual discipline, predominately based on non-dualism, but not limited by being based on any specific denomination. Yoga is and can be a physical/mental/spiritual exercise that has the ability to expand ones' conscioussness by enabling any belief system.
