Guest guest
Dear group, Mausalaparvan 5.1 in the critical edition describes Rama thus: tato yayur daarukaH kezavaz ca babhruz ca raamasya padaM patantaH/ athaa' pazyan raamam anantaviiryaM vRkSe sthitaM cintayaanaM vivikte// And again at 11 he is sthitam, and at 12 he is yogayuktasya. I wonder if we should picture him in a sitting or standing position? The picture in the vulgate that I have shows him sitting. I also wonder if in 12, mahaanubhaavaH is unambiguously to be related to the naagaH rather than the mahaarNavaH. Many thanks.
