I checked our copies of Vanijyotih, and the only vols. published were 1-3

(1987-89), as I think someone else said. In any case, the Narang article on

Bhattikavya is not in any of the three.

Merry Christmas to all,

Vanijyotih is the title of a serial, not of the festschrift. Our library

probably would not usually catalog a felicitation volume of a journal as a

separate monograph. Are you pretty sure it would be a recent publication? I

have paged the latest 3 vols. on the shelf, whatever they may be. However, it

appears we no longer have a subscription, which makes me wonder if the journal

is no longer publishing. If the article is not there I will ask our office in

New Delhi to check any issues accumulating for binding with them, if you don't

succeed in contacting Dr. Narang by the addresses Ashok gave you.

Dear Indologists,

I am trying to track down an article in a festschrift:

NARANG S.P., 2003. An analysis of the Prakrta of Bhasa-sama of the

Bhatti-kavya (Canto XIII) (On the basis of Jayamangala and Bharatamallika). In:

Prof. Mahapatra G.N., Vanijyotih: Felicitation Volume, Utkal University,

Bhuvaneshwar. (in press).

Does anyone know the email address of the author or know whether the book

actually appeared in print and if so where I can get a copy? Please contact me

off list if you can help.

Many thanks,

Oliver Fallon
