A Basic Course in ANCIENT MONUMENTS, SCULPTURE & HISTORY

 

Aranyavaak in joint collaboration with the Bhaarat Itihaas

Sanshodhak Mandal, Pune is very happy to announce the very first of

its kind Basic Course in Ancient Monuments, Sculpture & History

between December 2005 and February 2006. This 2 ½ month long course,

to be held at the Mandal premises will have a number of History,

Indology and Trekking experts from Pune lecturing and conducting

field trips on a variety of topics like Ancient Pune, Modi and

Braahmi scripts, technical Fort watching, technical old temples and

sculpture, carved caves, cave paintings, historic weaponry, historic

literature, history of Mahaaraashtra, stone inscriptions and a host

of other topics along with outdoor field visits.

 

Outings: Old Pune, Shaniwarwada, River bank monuments, Museums,

Bhaarat Itihaas Sanshodhak Mandal, Chaaskamaan – Palase, Sinhagad,

Kaarle – Bhaje – Bedse caves

and Ajintha – Verul – Devgiri (optional with separate charges)
