Guest guest
Sad news indeed. Murray was indeed a giant in the field of Indian language studies. A rare scholar who was well-versed in both Samskr.tam and Tamil. His contributions are immense and the hall-mark of his contribution is Dravidian Etymological Dictionary he authored jointly with Burrow. A great loss to the field. The best way to remember his contributions is to continue where he has left off in the contruction of the Linguistic Area. Kalyanaraman "Harold F.
