Guest guest
Hi Groups, I am identifying yogyata of any verb. for instance -vahina sinchati. In this sentence sinchati is a verb and vahina is instumental case but vahina (fire) is not able to do irrigation(sinchati). If we are making database of yogyata identification as follows- v_id krt_id krm_id krö_id smp_id apa_id adh_id dhŒv 1/2 -1 1 0/1/2 0 0 khād 1/2 0/1/2 0 0/1/2 -1 -1 table 4 (0 à inanimate, 1 à animate, 2 à human, -1 à none) Then we are facing a problem as- Lauhayaskam khAdati. In this sentence Lauhayaskam is uneatable. How it can be identify. If we are adding one more property in lexicon then it can be identify only on basis of semantics but no of eatable thinf are uncountable then how its possible ? Have you know any module for yogyata identification ? With deep regards. Sudhir Kumar Mishra Sanskrit Centre JNU, New Delhi.
