It is with profound grief that I announce the demise of Professor Kunjunni Raja, the doyen of Kerala's sanskrit scholars, who was ill for the past one year.Mainly remembered for his terse and precise Indian theories of Meaning,an outstanding contribution to semantic philosophy, Dr.Raja's contribution to Kerala studies related to Sanskrit are also highly rated.
