Guest guest
The second part of Yoga-darsana is called Sadhana-pada. Here the word is used in its generic meaning as the means for reaching the goal, which is liberation. In fact religious practice is one of the means for the selfsame goal. In Nyaya-Vaisesika logic and metaphysics, sadhana is the technical term denoting the probans (hetu), while sadhya is the probandum.
