Guest guest
Itihasa Bharati is a group focussing on the study of contributions made by jaati and janajaati in Hindusthana, to hindu thought, ethos, science, technology and cultural/spiritual traditions. Rishi Vis'vamitra uses the term Bharatam Janam in the Rigveda to connote the nation of Bharata people. As a civilization was nurtured on the banks of River Sarasvati, many artisan guilds, experts in metals, minerals, arts and crafts, builders of pushkars and architectural edifices, pioneers of irrigation and agriculture systems and thinkers about vrata and dharma have contributed to the identity called hindu civilization. The objective of the group is for members to collectively create a database and historical documentation of these contributions covering many facets of the civilization.
