Dear Friends,

Those of you who live in Delhi or have friends in Delhi

who would be interested in the subject are cordially invited

to my two lectures.

This is a long series that I am planning to do on

the three artha and kama connected shastras of India, namely

the Natyashastra, Kamashastra and Arthashastra, which talk

about the material goals of Hindu life in its classical perception.

There has been a concentration on the spiritual/paarmaarthic

nature of Hindu civilization but not analysis of

so much of the vaste importance of its mundane pursuits

as balanced cultured goals.

Kindly join in large numbers so that the Habitat centre is

encouraged to arrange for the rest of the series sooner than

later.
