Guest guest
Namaste Friends, Page 216 of BN Pandit's IPK of Utpaladava(2004) says: "Kashmir Shaivism does not deal in detail with the topic, but accepts the pramanas[means of knowledge]validity in mundane dealings. It agrees with the views of Kumarila Bhatta." So Trika Shaivism's epistemology is based on Mimamsa? And, by extention, Siddha Yoga's as well? I don't recall seeing this in Siddha Yoga's academic book "Meditation Revolution". Pandit didn't give any footnotes to the above, nor did he seem to cite related primary texts in the bibliography. Does anyone have more information? -Shanti -Mark, Seattle WA USA
