Guest guest
Dear Members I have developed a sort key generator for TeX index system. My program add sort keys to your xxx.idx file. If you process xxx.idx file through some Makeindex program. You can get Sanskrit index in Sanskrit alphabetical order. My program is made for ordinal TeX command. But you can easily adapt ITRANS coding or Wikner's skt program by means of re-writing sanskrit code table named "sktcode.tbl". Besides some TeX commands without diacritical marks in the index entry fields can be skipped in the process of adding sort key, and you can add some TeX commands which will be skipped and you need. Dr. Wujastyk kindly upload it on Indology FTP site. ftp://ftp.ucl.ac.uk/pub/users/ucgadkw/indology/software/ by the name sktsortkey-mac.tgz and sktsortkey-win.zip Both packages contains source code which can be compiled on Unix or Windows OS and Mac-Carbon application executable on MacClassic 8.5 later and MacOSX. If someone estimate my program, I will be very happy Best Regards Yasuhiro Okazaki Ph. D.
