Guest guest
Dear list members, In Yogaraja's commentary to the Paramarthasara immediately preceeding verse 43 he refers to a mantra sampradAya. Has anyone come across this term in any other texts. Is it likely he's referring to a specific school called the "mantra" school or just to traditions in general that have a transmitted mantra. The sentence is: tadiyataH sarvasya saMkocAvabhAsaparityAgAt AgamaprasiddhyA nararUpasya zAktarUpopArohaM mantrasaMpradAyaM kaTAkSayan abhidadhAti | Thanks, Harry Harry Spier 371 Brickman Rd.
