Yama and Yami

Hi guys.

 

I'd like to know if there is material corresponding to the Rgveda's hymn of Yama

and Yami, their dialogue, in the Brahmanas. Wendy Doniger writes that the

situation depicted in the hymn is totally unique in Sanskrit literature, but

perhaps she is only taking about literature beyond the vedic corpus? Is the

hymn not commented upon in a Brahmana?

 

Any suggestions of journal articles on this hymn would also be very welcome. I

haven't come across any yet.
