Abbreviatory Techniques of Panini

Dear List:

 

I am trying to compile a list of all the abbreviatory techniques employed by

Panini to acieve economy of words.

 

Here is what I have come up with:

 

(1) Siva Sutra Technique

(2) Technique of listing and then identifying the list by first phoneme and last

marker(it). Like sup for 'su-au-jas' and ting for 'tip-tas-jhi....'.

(3) Adhikara and Anuvriti Technique.

 

Can anyone please identify any others I might have missed.
