two questions on compounds

Dear list-members,

I have two questions regarding interpretation of

compounds without any comprehensive context. The

source is a fragment of medieval Sanskrit manual on

dance technique listing the usage of various

hand-gestures.

1) What could be the most sensible translation of the

word ArdrAparAdhaka? The Hindi commentary has it as

hAsyAparAdh kA abhinay, which I find equally

confusing.

2) What would be the preferable interpretation for the

word naver.SyA?

I shall welcome any suggestion.

Please excuse my cross-posting.

Thank you,

Marina Orelskaya.
