My apologies for posting an incomplete notice of the meeting. It will

be held in Washington, DC, at the Library of Congress, in the Madison

Building as indicated below in the correct notice. The Madison Building

is at 101 Indepence Ave., SE, and is next to the Capitol South Metro

stop. The conference is free and open to the public.

A symposium devoted to Indo-Trinidadian/Indo-Caribbean history and

culture. Featuring scholarship, documentary film and oral histories that

illuminate a long journey from within.

 

 

The symposium will be held on September 27, 2004, from 9:30 AM to 5:00

PM, in the Mumford Room, 6th Fl, Madison Building, Library of Congress.

It will open with a documentary by Gideon Hanoomansingh: "Legacy Of Our
