Anad ,thank you very much for these informations.I checked some site about

Lemuria. I think there are some doubts in scholars that was it a real island or

not .Perhaps there is no scientific proof that MUNDA tribes started their

journey from that land or not .If you have other informations ,kindly send me

..Iwill be very oblidged for you ,because Munda tribes ,their migrations and

their languages are my subject

Mr. Aslam Rasoolpuri

Try these maps of Lemuria in Pacific.

If true, it is easy to see that migrations took place from Lemuria to

India. "Lemuria" was the motherland of mankind (all races).

Also read books:

"The World before" by Ruth MontGomery

"Children of Mu (Lemuria)" James Churchward

Generally, sensible scholars regard Churchward's Mu / Lemuria hypothesis as

an unwarranted product of the late Victorian / Edwardian era on a par with

the contemporary Atrlantis theory. Best not to waste your time on that.

If you want a plausible suggestion of the origin of the Munda, I suggest you

read: "Eden in the East: The Drowned Continent of the Southeast Asia" by

Stephen Oppenheimer. This outlines a much more convincing and

scientifically-based theory which places the "lost continent" in the SE

Asian peninsular, extending down through the Indonesian and neighbouring

archipelagoes, which he calls Sundaland. Prior to the collapse of the

Laurentide Ice Shield (in Canada) at the very tail end of the last ice-age

(c8000-7000BCE), sea levels world wide would have been significantly lower.

The release of thousands of cubic kilometres of water would have raised the

water very swiftly and inundate any low-lying areas. Oppenheimer is a

geneticist and sees evidence of a huge diaspora of survivors from that

drowned area in genetic data, specifically concerning a variant of

sickle-cell anaemia which is unique to the Borneo / Indonesian region. He

also adduces considerable lingusitic and cultural (eg rice cultivation)

corroboration for his theory.

Best wishes,

Stephen Hodge
