The puranic character Subhadra

I'm not exactly sure whether this is the right list to ask this query..I am

puzzled by the puranic references to the origin

of the character Subhadra. In the Mahabharatha she's the sister of Krishna who

gets kidnapped by Arjuna etc and it finally

ends in bringing closer two powerful kingdoms of that period. But while looking

into the Bhagavatha purana that gives

detailed information on Krishna's birth and childhood I couldn't find any

reference on Subhadra's origin ! I don't have the

text of works like Harivamsa or Brahma vaivartha purana to refer to. Can other

listers give pointers to this pls?
