am.rta is the name of a Prakrit samadvipadii metre consisting of 38 maatraa-s (6

caturmaatra-s, 1

..sa.nmaatraa, 2 caturmaatra-s) each half; cf. Hemacandra's Chando'nu"saasana

7.50, or,

Svaya.mbhuuchanda 6.169 (Prakrit name: amaa.m [here: -aa- = two short a]).

With kind regards
