Guest guest
If it is any consolation, folk scholarship also emerges from time to time even in this country. The last major case was Thor Heyerdahl (of Kontiki fame). He wanted to rewrite Norway's medieval history. I have also seen bizarre cases of folk scholarship from America. I see no reason why we shouldn't poke fun at it. Why are you so sore? There are silly people everywhere, and India has as population of more than one billion people. Inevitably, some of them have to be silly. Wrap some elephant skin around your soul and join the fun! Lars Martin Dr.art. Guest guest
Lars, I do wrap up a tiger skin when I see silliness nearby! What more silly there is than making theories from silly observations.. Indeed some of the "new authorities" are pure wrap and no flesh! It's also a living, however silly it may be. I agree that such methods are not new and are seen in many places. Some Indians do meditate through hallucination.. Best wishes for the holidays..
