Guest guest
Ulrich Stiehl has asked me to forward the following message to the Indology group. Forwarded from Ulrich Stiehl Dear Indologists, As of 15th December 2003, the OpenType Unicode font "Sanskrit 2003" is available. This Devanagari font was developed by Swami Satchidananda and me during the past two years. "Sanskrit 2003" is the first font in the history of Devanagari typography including COMPLETE ligatures of ALL conjunct consonants attestable by quotations from original Sanskrit works described in my (German) linguistics book on "Conjunct Consonants in Sanskrit". A separate version of the well-known "Itranslator", namely "Itranslator 2003", was programmed by Swami Satchidananda to support the new OpenType Unicode font "Sanskrit 2003". The 100-page manual of "Sanskrit 2003" is downloadable at http://home.t-online.de/home/ulrich.stiehl/itmanual2003.pdf "Sanskrit 2003" and "Itranslator 2003" are downloadable at http://www.omkarananda-ashram.org/Sanskrit/itranslator2003.htm Best wishes, Ulrich Stiehl, Heidelberg (Germany) Website: http://home.t-online.de/home/ulrich.stiehl/fonts.htm _______________ Browse styles for all ages, from the latest looks to cozy weekend wear at MSN Shopping.
