Sandahl, "The Rtusamhara: a different approach", RSO, No.75, fasc. I-IV. I had heard from Prof. Sandahl that she had solved this ancient mystery, and had this in the back of my mind when I asked the question- but only in the back of my mind, since I didn't think that she had used a computer to find her solution. Nevertheless, I eagerly look forward to reading the article, and may pick up a copy of RSO in person at one of the really astonishingly well-stocked and literate magazine kiosks that you have in your Italian train stations. More seriously: as an old-style highly academical journal, it is unlikely that you can find the Rivista degli Studi Orientali (founded early in the last century) elsewhere than in libraries. Regrettably, I agree... Hahaha. Well, I didn't really expect to find anything _quite_ as olympian as RSO at the newsstand, but I was really impressed by the array of Italian and translated high literature in cheap paperback editions that was to be found alongside the newspapers and hard pornography at the newsstands over there. And I thought I saw people drinking wine with their Macchi Larghi. So anything might be possible. More seriously: as an old-style highly academical journal, > it is unlikely that you can find the Rivista degli Studi Orientali > (founded early in the last century) elsewhere than in libraries. I doubt if it is in the U of T library, but if not, I can find it online, or have it sent to me. Still interested in the computer question, if there's any more to be said.
