Guest guest
Dear scholars of Indology, I am not a scholar of Sanskrit or Tamil - just a layman. I do have a question for the scholars, which may make some of us feel very uncomfortable, especially given the political climate of India wherein everything good in Indian culture is attributed to a 'Sanskritic culture'. Was there a Adi Sankara (of Advaita philosophy) whose existence could be attested by any verifiable recorded proof? Please tell us the truth. Thanks, Vel Murugan.
