Let me share some of my learnings in thes regard: Yes, any thing recited with understanting has multiple benefit than mere chanting. That is why SrImad rAmAnujacharya had his dearest desciple srI ParAsharaBHattar to undertake the task of explaining the meaning of several thousand names of the LORD. The work of bhattar was so beautiful and meaningful that the Acharya named it as Bhagad~guNa darpana (Mirror to the glorious attributes of the supreme lord).. This gift of bhattar stands too high amongst severa other attempts by others. After a long search I am fortunate have access to some of the translations in English. I offer to share with the members of the group with the blessings of AchArya on daily basis the meanings. under the posting ' Glory of the Day' starting from today (thiru Adi pooram) 1.
